News of Second Banner?

laughingman, on the off chance you're not dense - the blimp has a very limited number of flying hours per month, and it travels very slowly. Meaning a trip to Iowa would very nearly take up all the available flying time just in transit to and from Iowa - meaning once in your precious Iowa it would be sitting on the ground doing nothing.

Get over it, it's not logistically possible to have it be in Iowa, and it's not weatherly possible to be in Boston or NH.

Deal.

Then why were the creators trying to get it to Boston if it has such a limited time? Either your full of shit or they are.

Good retort cretin.

Does this make it more clear???

by the way:

I love how you say every state is important yet have the nerve to say that area is a wasteland.

Really don't feed the trolls. Just ignore them.

They are probably taking a paycheck from some other candidate.

Ron Paul (Or one of his lackeys' it's probly one of those guys) thought talking to me was important. He called me a nuisance who didn't understand property rights because I was advocating that Ron Paul supporters can not disbar people from coming into his campaign (9/11 truthers, Nazis etc)

I'm pretty big in his facebook group. It's nice to have my work recognized especially by his campaign.

Speak English.

And if that jumbo means you're admitting that you're not a RP supporter and just here for w/e reasons, then welcome, please enjoy your stay, perhaps you could get edjumakated, but lay off the speaking stupid, it really reflects poorly upon yourself (no matter who you support).

That is english.... just sound out the words, you can do it.

I am a RP supporter, that's why I'm here. Speak my mind and all that jazz that forums are for.

And think about all those major cities it will pass over on it's route to Iowa...a lot better then a short ride to SC.

Here's to hoping I'm wrong. The blimp's set to launch. Nothing left to do but support it. God bless those involved and may they have a safe trip.

Flying to Iowa via all those cities is a nice idea, but is it feasible because of winter weather conditions?

I think a major flaw in the blimp plan was the fact that weather was not really taken into consideration when money was being raised. This led to a false belief on the part of blimp investors that the blimp could go anywhere in the dead of winter. This is not true. I think the blimp will probably only ever make it to SC and Florida because of weather.

But that's fine. I think wherever this blimp goes, it will be worth the money, because it does something we really need: ATTRACT MEDIA ATTENTION. I completely disagree that Iowa and NH are the only important states, and people living there might see the blimp on their TV anyway.

I do think it will be a big mistake to launch without both banners. That means half the people who see the blimp won't see Ron Paul on it. I also think the blimp team has egg on their face for not having the banners almost a full week after the original proposed launch date, which was still being touted as they tried their last minute fundraising push a week ago.
