On the Democratic side in Iowa Hillary Clinton has really reestablished her dominance, getting 57% to 25% for Bernie Sanders, 7% for Martin O'Malley, and 1% for the now departed Lawrence Lessig. Clinton's seen a 15 point improvement in her net favorability rating over the last six weeks, from +42 at 65/23 in mid-September to now +57 at 74/17. Sanders has continued to become more popular too, going from 56/20 to 62/20.

Clinton is really dominating with several key groups in Iowa. Among seniors she's up 74/13 and with women she's up 61/21. She leads across the board with the various constituencies we track but it is tighter with younger voters (43/40), men (51/31), and voters who identify themselves as 'very liberal' (48/30).

If Bernie Sanders were to completely collapse across the board, it could play to our advantage in a few open-primary states. Quite frankly, baring O'Malley being the subject of some divine intervention, Clinton has the democratic nomination in the bag, not even the progressive far-left, save the ones under 25, are dumb enough to nominate somebody that is brazenly open about their economic views.

I talked with a guy I know and he said Bernie is ok because he is a democratic socialist. these kids are stupid but think they are so smart

Sanders is no more socialist than any recent president. He just honestly naively believes in it, the rest have been charlatans.

Not sure if that's better or worse.

Sanders will be bad but I cannot imagine anyone worse than Hillary. They might equal her but no way can they out do her. He isn't going to step out of line.

Sanders is hoping for either a Hillary health or legal crisis. not a bad place to be

Bernie was never doing well in Iowa so therefore he has not collapsed. Hillary has been around the 60% mark for sometime. Bernie beats her in NH.

I hate to say this, but I have to agree with trump on Sanders. He had a popular 30 seconds in the debate and for that he gave up everything he can attack clinton on. He is finished in my opinion.
