Just weeks ago the mainstream media declared the campaign of Republican presidential hopeful Dr. Rand Paul to be dead in the water.
They claimed that poor debate performances had led to Paul supporters leaving and that low fundraising yields were the deathblow,
a final nail in the coffin for the Paul campaign. However, a recent CNN poll show that these predictions were far from the truth.
The CNN poll shows that the Senator from Kentucky is on his way up, and recent claims by the candidate that his campaign is just getting started do indeed hold merit. Recent reports from the ground indicate that the Paul campaign is heavily mobilized in both Iowa, and New Hampshire, the two first states to vote.
Mobilization of students has been a key factor in the building of momentum for the campaign, with thousands of students across both of the early states already pledged to vote and volunteer on Paul’s behalf.
