The RCP average in 2008 was reallly close to final results...the Suffolk poll sucked though

I don't really get it.

Voting for Huntsman is literally throwing your vote away. Santorum made a bit more sense since it was the first state to vote.

He was dead last in Iowa and isn't on the ballots in a few states.

I would think people would see that, at least not 15% of people.

Other than Undecideds clearly breaking for McCain and away from Romney, the RCP average was damn close to spot on.

Ron was overestimated a bit, McCain way underestimated by like 7%. There will probably be 7-10% swing somewhere...we can only hope Ron gets enough of that swing to keep his 2nd place lead.

We were at least on the ballot in all 50 states.

I'm just afraid Huntsman and Romney will get that undecided vote this time...Will it be enough to overtake Paul? I don't know, perhaps not but it'll be close I think.

The good news is, Huntsmans pretty far down the list on the ballot, lol. So if people want to decide quick and just go, they'll go Romney.

Regardless of that poll, I'd assume there are much more "Story Counties"* in NH than Iowa. Despite arguments about how many young adults actually vote, do you really think more young voters will come out for Heinzmann*?


*Story County is where Ames is located. Aka, college town.

I don't think the young Democrats or Obama/Dem voters from last election will come out for Huntsman because the time to change parties was a long time ago. So Huntsman is losing a lot of potential voters for that reason.

They don't deconvert current supporters, but they give just enough of a push to make the undecideds fall away from Ron and towards whoever the media is pushing (Huntsman). The reason Romney is being assaulted these last 2 days is to essentially steal undecideds from going his way too so they can be more concentrated in Huntsman's favor to steal 2nd.

Yea no worries I'm not saying this outside of the forums.

And the difference in that is voting for RP meant something, whereas I would bet the majority of Huntsman people are just average voters watching CNN/FOX/whatever and don't pay much attention.
