You obviously have somewhat different motivations in your support for Dr. Paul and thats fine, but dont insult me because Im not one of you long suffering libertarians. It appears that yall are more concerned with moving your libertarian agenda forward. I just want an *honest* politician in the White House that I agree with on some issues. You seem concerned with just maintaining a libertarian (big or little L) voice somewhere. Like I said, thats fine but not everyone has the same motivation that you Libertarians do. I got with this campaign to get him into the White House....not sniff the White House by being the most successful libertarian candidate, but still lose.
Understood, keep in mind not everyone is libertarian here and most of us didnt come into the fold for "the long haul". I know I sure didnt, but now I'm a republican that can't just turn back to the "business as usual" of a mislead party. Are you prepared too?
I want to see ron paul in the whitehouse more than congress, BUT our options are as follows
Ron paul (at a brokered convention)small chance at President.
or
Ron paul (brokered convention) small chance at president, Locked in congressman.
And "head" in the public eye of a movement that will get us there eventually.
True, it stinks, but a million dollars towards for congress gets his name out just as much in texas as a million dollars towards his campaign.
They both generate name recognition and votes, while the failure to get him elected to congress gives the Media more Ammo.
