New email - Ron wants help with congressional seat

I disagree. This is the second time that the campaign has sent out an email directing people to the congressional campaign instead of the presidential campaign on the day of a presidential campaign moneybomb. Sure, RP is getting cash for his congressional race but then if thats all that matters to HQ now why bother with more presidential moneybombs? The campaign obviously isn't supporting them any more.

The email directs them to ronpaulforcongress.com not ronpaul2008.com.

I understand all that. You are missing my point. Couldn't that email have gone out TOMORROW to get donations from mailing list people to the congressional campaign? As I said, this is the second time that the campaign has sent out an email at the same time as a presidential moneybomb that the grassroots has organized, that subtly directs people to give to the congressional campaign instead of the presidential campaign. In other words, the presidential campaign is sabotaging the presidential moneybombs in favor of a congressional moneybomb for the congressional campaign. Is it really necessary to work AGAINST us now? Ive been quiet about the campaign staff but now Im getting pissed because I feel like they don't have an exit strategy, rather they are simply giving up on the presidential campaign and trying to funnel potential presidential money to the congressional run instead.

Now that you guys were so generous with the Congress campaign maybe you'd like to chip in to the Presidential campaign before you call it a night! In spite of the fact that the Congress thing has taken all the support today, so far almost $70,000 have been raised.

Just as a note to laugh on: NPR's "All Things Considered" screwed up today and gave RP some coverage in light of his "longshot" presidential campaign and his "now uncertain" congressional campaign. They interviewed the competition (can't remember his name) for congress and really gave Ron a bad spin. It was almost like everyone in his district is a war-monger and RP's presidential campaign has brought to light things that they never knew about him. I got mad after that part and turned the radio off.

But I got to thinking later on that they are really goofing up thinking that he is finished in either of the races and by even mentioning his name. What they indirectly are affirming (on a national scale!) is that he is still in the presidential race and THE ONLY CONSERVATIVE LEFT (if anyone thinks there ever was other conservatives)!

Perhaps they feel that the most urgent need was for the congressional campaign and were affraid that people would donate to the presidential and not have anything left for the congressional. At this point the presidential race is truely in the delegates hands.

This is discouraging, it seems the next congress will be more liberal, more anti-constitutional than the last one. Ron Paul is really in a run to keep his own seat, and he is the Chief Defender of the Constitution. Things look grim folks!

Yeah that does suck. We lost 1 in Maryland but at least we (potentially) picked up 3.
