The intended audience for the ad is people who already believe that abortion is wrong, to convince them that Rand is their banner guy on this issue, not to educate pro-choice people on the horrors of abortion.

I was kind of hoping that he would stay away from this issue for as long as possible simply because it may be a line in the sand for independents and peace loving libs.

Also, when he says 'I promise I will always take a stand for all life', I wish he would have qualified that with something like, 'In this country I promise I will always take a stand for all life'...........
