New Ad by Rand

maybe this is his offense?

seems to be his focus anyway. maybe his camp believes keeping the issue alive has legs too?
 
Rand must really think this is a winning issue for him. I still really think that he needs to respond to the attacks regarding the "Fair Tax."
 
IS it me, and I just have no clue as to the pulse of the Kentucky race, but wouldn't Illegal immigration play a factor here?

I mean, all this stupid 'aqua budha" stuff is stupid. Rand says "he won't stop" YET, he keeps putting out ads counter-attacking it.

Frustrating. I mean, does Kentucky care about illegal immigration, and jobs?

I think I know what Rand and his staff are up to. Let me illustrate with a story. There's a guy who does Krav Maga (Israeli martial arts / military-style combat) that once was attacked on the street. He started yelling for help, but pulled the attacker in close, held him up, and was pummeling him as he was backing up yelling for help. By the time other people got to him to help him, he let go of the attacker and the attacker just crumpled to the ground.

Rand is "yelling for help" by talking about how low that attack is (and it truly is low), but he's got Jack tangled up and is pummeling him to his heart's content. Once maximum damage is flipped back on Conway, he'll let him drop to the ground. He may drop him before election day, but that's his discretion.

Rand's a smart dude. Nailing someone who attacks you like that is 100% okay and appropriate, even if you cover your back deftly in the eyes of everyone else while you're at it. This is a master at work. Watch and learn.
 
I like it, even more than the original response ad. I don't care if its off-message, it hits Conway hard, makes him look terrible. I say he should milk this controversy for all its worth, especially since it makes Conway look untrustworthy, and therefore all of Conway's other attacks will be less likely to be believed by the voting public.

Conway is still running the Aqua Buddha ad, apparently. Conway is keeping his campaign focused on that, and Rand should continue his response.

The new American Crossroads ad seems to be more on message though.

I think this is a winning issue...Rand is right to keep going with it. It reminds independents how big a scumbag Conway is.
 
Both of these ads are homeruns. Rand's new ad is better than his other one, though both are good
 
The narrator is over dramatic. I think the audience gets the message without the narrator sounding like she is in the depths of despair.
 
I'm glad they FINALLY used that clip of Jackass saying that he would not turn this into a campaign of fear and name calling. That's good stuff! Shows what a blatant liar he really is.
 
There's no way Rand would pass up the chance the reinforce the fact that Conway's own Democrat allies are distancing themselves after that ad. It makes it appear that much worse to prospective Democrat voters.

I think that ^ is what it is all about. No doubt Conway has more negative attack ads prepped to go in the final weeks, break off the tip of his sword before he even has a chance to draw it.
