The fact that Ron Paul wants to audit the federal reserve is anti-Soros enough.

That simple point I just stated is enough to bring a lot of this back down to earth.

Soros was a Jewish teenager who had to pose as a Christian to prevent being killed by the Nazis in 1944 when Hungary had been occupied by the German army because Hitler was punishing Hungary's leader Miklos Horthy for starting negotiations with the Allies to take Hungary out of the war. I'm no fan of the ADL but the statement they issued about Soros is basically correct, he did what he could to survive the difficult circumstances of WWII Europe like any of us would have done in that situation.

Also, there's a subtle message to Beck's lecture which rests on a series of fallacies, the main fallacy being that the associates of Soros are plotting to weaken America's military to leave us open to invasion by some foreign power, who exactly? Soros has libertarians views in certain respects. Soros is very anti-War.
Even if Soros would be behind it, I wouldn`t mind at all. If I were Soros I would support Paul due to anti-war policy. He`s the only anti war candidate. Plain and simple.

This is the view of someone who honestly believes in centralized government. If you believe in it, best solution would be to have 1 big gov. In his mind if world would have 1 big gov there wouldn`t be anymore wars. I see it as misguided but that`s where he`s coming from.

There`s nothing wrong with short-selling. It`s part of his investor strategy to play currencies. He lost some money doing it but also made a lot.
He`s not "crashing" anything. He`s just placing bets when he sees disaster happening. The ones who "crashed" the system are the statists who implemented failed policies, not Soros. I may have a problem with Soros getting inside information and trading based on inside information. I believe he was convicted once for trading based on inside information.

The vast majority of Americans don't even have a clue how sinister George Soros is anyway, and Ron Paul will easily be able to set the record straight about his involvement (or lack thereof) in picking the task force, and the options they had to pick from. Of course, it's another story if he says, "I didn't know," but we'll see.

I don't think you realize how very many conservative Republicans listen to what he says. They may not be active listeners, but when they hear about this, and I have seen this story multiple places on the net, their ears will perk up. Soros is not a good guy at all to conservatives.

Traditional conservatives are the low hanging fruit for Ron Paul. It is my belief that this story is ignored at our own peril. But, that's just my opinion.
