Need help answering an ethical question

Tell him this:

"I have ethics. If I rat out the person that you intend to do harm to, then one day I might rat you out. No one can trust a rat and I am not a rat. I can't help you."

If you know that someone is going to murder someone else, and you tell the murderer where the victim is, you are an accomplice to the crime. If you didn't know, well, you didn't know. Since the person is an imminent danger to yourself and others, it wouldn't be entirely out of the question to simply shoot the murderer where he stood if he was wielding a weapon of any variety while asking the question.
