Realistically, are Nebraska Republicans as passionately against the Iraq war as Senator Hagel. And if so, is RP highly thought of there?

There are many neo cons here in Nebraska. Chuck Hagel does not represent the majority. On the plus side, I see more Ron Paul signs than Hilary or Barak. I haven't seen a McCain sign.

Unfortunately, the NeoCons have done a great job of framing the debate in terms of Pro-American Patriot / Loyal Republican (Iraq War supporter) vs. Anti-American / Democrat (Cowardly Peacenik).

Which of course is total hogwash.

Yes somewhere in this debate American economic stability and soldiers lives are arguably worth rebuilding Iraq and fighting in a civil war. I love neo-conservatism..........

In Nebraska it is not to late to make a difference

If you have not changed your party yet you have until April 25th.
And you still can become a delegate at your county convention.
In Nebraska they rarely have enough delegates so they normally will
seat everyone that shows up. You just can not move onto the state level
BUT you can vote the Ron Paul delegates onto the state level.
