I just dled the image and messed with it on photoshop...yea someone from nasa really did edit this photo like that...pretty weird. Someone should submit that to digg or reddit or whatever. Found this comment on youtube though:

All colour astronomical "photos" are actually made up of different exposures (e.g. red green and blue) taken using different filters. Unfortunately this is a problem if an object in the picture moves.

In this case they took the position of the moon in the blue exposure as its position in the final picture and cut & pastex the moon in the green and red exposures so it matched up in the same place. The holes left in the green and red were then painted over.

Much more simple than aliens...

Makes a lot of sense. The moon had to move while they were taking the picture and they didn't want to keep all of the images of the moon in the photo, thus they had to remove all but one of them.

NASA would have had to edit the larger object as well. But I dont see where the larger object was painted?

This is pretty easy to find out for amatuer astronomers. With the technology available today it isn't too difficult to look at these images yourselves in real-time with your own telescopes. Where are all the amateur astronomers at? What proponderonce of evidence is there? I'd love to be wrong, but all this UFO talk lately is without a proponderence of evidence. I want to see the evidence. Produce some people!

Depends on if the telescope was targeting the larger body or the smaller.

Smaller bodies also tend to move much faster as well.

Might I suggest that "what's not right" is much closer to home than you think?
