My landlord in NH

If she absolutely refuses to see reason, tell her you're leaving because you would feel guilty and bad about yourself if you knew you were sponsoring idiocy.

Ok, I'm kidding. Not really though...

I didn't realize we had so many eugenics supporters here.
I am kind of disturbed.

Passive eugenics is the nature of natural selection. We've done our best to eliminate natural selection in the human race - it really sucks.

Try paying rent with monopoly money

Was just talking to my landlord and I asked her who she supports. She said Mcain.
So I asked why.Her answer totally stumped me.

"Because hes the only republican who wants to bring the troops home"

So I pretty much tried to open her eyes to the truth with the usual Ron Paul talk,I even played Stop Dreaming for her on my pc. Halfway through the video she said she had to go.One thing that pissed me off even more during the discussion was that she said hes polling low anyway so it doesn't matter, then tried to convert me to Mcain,lol...

The ignorence of some people just gets me so angry.

Try paying your rent with monopoly money. with someone THAT stupid you got to at least try.

I wonder sometimes in the age of information we have a nation of misinformed people. What was it like during the dark ages?

Some people should not be allowed to reproduce or to vote.

Everyone should be allowed to reproduce and vote, it IS what we stand for! I just wish people would use more than 2 seconds of brain processing time to make decisions about both voting and reproducing.

"By the way, I will get Osama bin Laden. I will follow him to the gates of hell. He is someone who must be brought to justice."

John McCain - The only republican who wants to take us to the gates of hell.

you don't need to carpet bomb a country to find OBL. he is definitely not in Iraq, either.

I have to agree wholeheartedly. How's anybody been looking at the polls for the later primaries? We're barely registering, and I think that we need a really good showing in New Hampshire to reverse that trend. Everyone said there's no way that Huckabee does well in NH, his evangelical stuff won't fly there, he's broke, etc. But he got a major boost off of his win in Iowa and he's polling above us in NH right now. How? It has to be momentum from his win in Iowa. Everyone's acting like the early starts aren't important, but how am I supposed to convince everyone I know to vote for Ron in the Pennsylvania primaries if he doesn't do well in the early ones? FYI, I already have about five people converted, registered and ready to vote here in PA. But, there going to want to know why they should bother to vote if Paul isn't doing well in the earlier primaries. What am I supposed to tell them? I think we need at least fourth place today. Just my $.02.

I believe it is disinformation. For all we know the way the MSM distorts
the news she may have read an article telling her that McCain indeed wants
to bring the troops home. Or some of her closest friends have told her so.
Regardless. We have our work cut out for us reeducating the voting public.
Remember, Rome was not built in a day.

don't take her words too seriously. she probably decided to vote for mccain for some other reason and then told you think because she thought that would convince you.

If anyone here has ever been in sales, you know that people lie about their objections to buying all of the time. In this case, we're selling Paul. You have to find their real objection, or you have no hope of addressing it.

I read an article this morning that quoted a lot of other "uninformed" New Hampshire voters. I'm glad they only posted seven of these quotes, because if they'd posted just one more I might have hurled all over my keyboard. Are these supposed to be the "ruggedly independent" voters in the Live Free or Die State?? Please tell me it ain't so. These people are casting their votes based on feelings, polls, and outright lies....

Tom Grodt, 46, attorney

"I was wavering but John Edwards has convinced me I'll vote for him. I like the fact he talks about a tough fight and he's in it for the duration. I saw Obama earlier today and he didn't have the same kind of feeling. He was more 'bring everyone together and we'll talk about it'."

Nell Wiener, 24, teacher

"I haven't made my mind up yet and I'm trying to see all the candidates. John McCain is my fourth – he's the only Republican I've seen because I think that he has the best chance. I'm voting for a Democrat, [but] I feel that if a Republican is going to end up in the White House, I'd like to have seen them."

Don Doughty, 40s, electrical engineer

"I'm undecided at the moment. I'm going to look at the polls Tuesday morning and see where my vote has the most impact. I could vote Republican or Democrat at this point. If neither Obama or McCain needs my vote to win New Hampshire, then I will vote with Edwards because I like what he said."

Thomas, 37, architect

"I plan to vote for Hillary Clinton because she’s a strong leader and she has experience and credibility. I think our country needs someone like her. I'm optimistic about Hillary's chances tomorrow but I'm going to keep my fingers crossed because the polls are a little worrying."

Yvonne Venable, retired

"I think John McCain is the brightest and best hope for the Republican party at this time just because of his demeanour, his character, all the good things about him. The only thing detrimental is yes, he is a little old. But I think if you've still "got it", that's not such a bad thing – and he's still got it."

John Chesnulevich, 53, retired firefighter

"I'm going to vote for Rudy Giuliani. I think the strongest point all the candidates have to address is illegal immigration – it affects the whole country. Rudy was mayor of New York and he was leader of a city that is just hard to govern – it's a melting pot, it has all kinds of problems."

Lauren Alfano, 17, High School student

"I think I'm going to vote for Mitt Romney. I like the fact he is going to cut taxes - that will help a lot of middle income families. I feel he hasn't flip-flopped. It's almost like you're studying for a test, you have to learn all about the candidates and make your mind up what the right answer is."
