My landlord in NH

Was just talking to my landlord and I asked her who she supports.She said Mcain.
So I asked why.Her answer totally stumped me.

"Because hes the only republican who wants to bring the troops home"

So I pretty much tried to open her eyes to the truth with the usual Ron Paul talk,I even played Stop Dreaming for her on my pc. Halfway through the video she said she had to gne thing that pissed me off even more during the discussion was that she said hes polling low anyway so it doesn't matter,then tried to convert me to Mcain,lol...

The ignorence of some people just gets me so angry.

Print this thread and deliver it to her!

Probably every polling station should have a chart visibly posted that lists key issues and a short blurb of each candidate's position on those issues. Far fetched idea but I think it may help those slackers who don't want to any personal research....

Well... I know I'd sure be a lot happier if I were stupid. You can't be intelligent, have a grasp of what's going on in the world, and still be all that happy. I know a lot of stupid people that are plenty happy. When we have a real economic breakdown and the stupid people start looking for pitchforks, we're all in a bunch of trouble.

why does the campaign not see this? they're like lambs being led to the slaughter. grassroots can't do this alone. standing on the interstate with a sign won't do it. making people watch youtube won't do it. there should be a cohesive strategy being passed on to all meet-ups. this post is an example.

I think everyone should be carrying around their iPod Video and showing these clips to people. You could have had the McCain 100 year clip with you and educated her in a way she would believe.

yeah, showing facts about mccain's stances would have been much more efficient. if you compared the platforms between mccain and dr. paul, i'm sure you would have converted her. videos which we (people who are already supporters) might not be the best thing to show first. sure they make us feel emotional, but strangers to dr. paul are more interested in hard facts.

I gave up on human beings a long time ago. The best we can hope for is for the whole system to crash and start all over.

It might not happen anytime soon, but it will eventually if things keep on the course they are on.
