"My son went to a Foo Fighters concert last night and the lead singer asked the crowd who they were voting for in the election. The lead singer said he was voting for Ron Paul and after the concert they handed out Ron Paul Info to the crowd as they were leaving. HELL YES!! Everyone give a shout to the Foo Fighters"

How in the hell are they the most influential rock band of the past 15 years? What have they influenced?

I don't even know what they sing...

LOL....Come on man. Just believe they are very famous. They did that song "Learn to Fly" about 9 years ago, and have had subsequent radio hits.

I always knew I liked Dave Grohl. That is awesome that he supports Ron Paul.

If you dont know who Dave Grohl is,then that's your problem. He is one of the most influential post 90's rock icons.

I hope this is true... dave friggin rocks. don't forget he was in nirvana too. I know nirvana's bass player Krist Novoscelic is into politics and i don't know if it is true but a quick google search and it seems he might have made contributions to the campaign

ok... way cool, foo fighters arent the most influential rock band in 15 years... but they were mainstream for quite a while...

I lump in nirvana with foo fighters btw..so who would be the most then? it would either be Green day or Foo Fighters as far as American bands i believe.

I <3 the Foo Fighters. I'm glad the care enough (and are intelligent enough!) to recognize that our country is in dire straits and is in need of a good doctor. After all, we only have 100 years...

BTW, this endorsement rocks! I listen to more punk than anything, but the Foo Fighters are one of the few rock bands that I like.. Maybe its cuz I grew up on a strict diet of Nirvana & Nine Inch Nails. lol

Since '95? Kid Rock stands out, but isn't universally acclaimed. Green Day has proven to stay relevant since they broke out, but I wouldn't call them 'influential' anymore.

And yes - Krist Novolesic gave some to the campaign, there was a link on dailypaul.com

Thats the key to the conspiracy! Courtney Love is behind it all because Krist, Dave, and even Letterman like Ron Paul, and she had her drug buddies over at the LA offices of FoxNews start this whole blacklist thing, just for drama!

/the concluding paragraph above was completely fictional and I don't believe any part of it to be true, incluing Letterman and Dave Grohl actually liking Paul

LOL nice thread... "Who the fuck are these retards?

I'm the resident Ron Paul supporter. Get lost."

this is big guys..and something we need for the 3rd party run. I've always wondered why the musicians havent come out yet..but this endorsement breaks us out into the mainstream finally and hopefully we'll get more of those that are informed as well.
