MN-CD8: GOP Shenanigans or Honest Mistake?WRONG ADDRESS 4 CD 8

Our call center has been rocking, battling Romney phonebanks who are calling our delegates to try to steal them. Have heard some tell our volunteers that Mitt's employees have called them over 15 times. On top of that we hear of other problems, such as the following letter that a delegate sent us after we told him where the real convention location is. We are battling this misinfo with calls, as well as efforts by the MN office. We confirmed the locations by calling the venues directly.

The correct address for the CD8 Convention is:

Since the property is for sale I doubt that it was a mistake...
The addresses aren't even remotely similar

We got an answering machine with the letter writer...

You're probably going to need someone at the "honest mistake" location to direct delegates to the real one, or at least someone should put up a sign the morning of the convention to make sure people know where they should be...

and the letter should be brought up as an order of business with request to delay commencement for an appropriate time to let people get there. At least, if there isn't some concrete reason we can't.

If all there people are there on the dot and vote it down,..... all we'll have is the scandal and we all know how thick skinned they are about proof of rule breaking. They just don't seem to care.

Is this a violation of the call so it can be rendered void and delegates from it not seated? We need to get a parliamentarian on that to find the cure.

I'm thinking of Ron's Portland Maine delegates ALL of whom were thrown out because there was a mistake in checking people in.

Definitely motion to suspend the start of convention (call to convention) for 30 minutes (or whatever yall think is appropriate given the circumstances) and have that bad address letter in hand and offer to let any delegate review it prior to a vote.

Ben Swann. Should I send it tonight or wait until after the meeting tomorrow? Do you know if anyone ran the fact that the location is different from what is on the letter past a parlimentarian to see if there is a way to cure that or if it needs to be cured?
