Rick Santorum - Megadeth frontman Dave Mustaine Endorses Rick Santorum,[mod: later sd no]

But states that Ron Paul is "so way out" by what he says that it negates all the good that Paul espouses.

Dave Mustaine Disrespects Paul

Megadeth is well known for its social/political lyrics, and having had heard interviews with Dave Mustaine, I had gotten the impression that he was/is very cognizant of the machinations behind world events, but then he goes and says something that "negates everything else".

This.

I also find it humorous that Dave Mustaine knocks Romney for being worth $100+ million when Mustaine is worth an estimated $20 million himself.

I'm left to conclude that he's fallen for the politics of envy.

Dave Mustane is an idiot. I remember he was on Politically Correct and was trying to bust on a Bob Dole staffer on the show saying"Bob Dole fought againist the American Disabilities Act" and The staffer told him "You realize Bob Dole is disabled and championed it". The staffer asked Mustane "Where did he get this information from" and Mustane said "MTV". The whole crowd roared and Mustane shut up the whole rest of the show because he looked like a complete idiot.

What's his email address? We should uhm, ya know, let him know he really f**ked this up...

Mustaine.....

The same guy who wrote Peace Sells.......

Is supporting a warmonger and someone who would promote the NWO?

*facepalm*

Mustaine is a Satanist. There is very little "Christian right" in this country. They're mostly Satanists, not Christians. Mustaine claims to be Christian? Really from a guy fronting a band called "Megadeth" who sings a song about the "Prince of Darkness" in the first person? Right. Sometimes you have to take a step back and look at these things in their simplest form.

Oh Dave... You rascal.

It is obvious what this is all about really. Mustaine has made a living off of songs and albums that speak about death, war, oppressive taxation, totalitarianism, etc etc etc.... Of course he will endorse Santorum because he needs to keep the inspiration for his music around. If Paul were President he would have nothing left to sing about. "Hell me, it's me again.... My currency actually now has value. My taxes are almost non existent and i'm actually happy" will not sell a lot of albums.

Mustaine is clearly miguided, i wouldnt read into this too much.. he doesnt even know why he likes santorum.. and clearly isnt up to speed on any of the issues..

In his new book, he spends a whole chapter on trying to escape from the oppressive rule of his Jehovas Witness parents. If he only knew about the sh** santorum would try to ram down peoples throats, he would change his mind on Santorum in a heartbeat.

Have you even read the lyrics to Prince of Darkness? It's an indictment against Lucifer as opposed to a tribute. Secondly, if you want to get on Mustaine's case for the glorification of evil it probably would lead you to the Conjuring which Mustaine has refused to perform for many years. With that said, he certainly has taken a turn for the better with the metallification of Psalm 23:

Peace sells, but who's buying?

That says it all for these shills.

Megadeath sucks. It's joke metal.

Well if joke metal consisted of numerous tempo changes and frenetic solos. When Marty Friedman was in the band, along with a healthy Nick Menza in the early 90s they were the best metal band in the world bar none. Melody, aggression, speed, & technical skill all rolled into one big, abrasive package... Obviously, Dave doesn't write like this anymore but they're still better than many of the "style over substance" contemporary acts.

Does Lucifer have to be indicted? I thought it was just assumed. Is there a point to talking about how bad Satan is? I find that people who talk about it all the time are inclined to emulating him. Why don't I write a poem about how bad Hitler was. "I am Hitler. I like to kill people. I want to commit genocide." What a clever, important, and innovative thing to do, run around talking like Hitler.

All these fools like Ozzy Osbourne, Gene Simmons, Dave Mustaine, and lots more go around claiming that they're completely different than the characters that their music and theatrical lifestyles convey, yet when you get glimpses of their core beliefs you find that they're exactly the same corrupt little freaks that they play on stage or sing about.

If anyone gets a chance to talk to Mustaine, ask him, specifically, what Ron Paul said that makes him dislike Paul. I hear alot of people state that Ron Paul says "loony" things and they can never give me an example. This leads me to believe that they hear someone's opinion that Paul says "kooky" things but never actually hears Paul say anything "kooky."

In 1988, in response to the British government's criticism of homosexuality, Mustaine said: "More power to them. It says in the Bible that men should not lay with men like they lay with women. I mean I don't wanna f--k up and not go to heaven." In an answer to a question about Judas Priest having an overt homosexual image, "I don't wanna talk about this. The last thing I need is a bunch of homos picketing us."

Mustaine said yesterday that his words were taken out of context. That he would like to see a republican in the white house and respects Santorum for taking time off to be with his daughter. But he said he has endorsed nobody yet, and he ever said he has endorsed Rick Santorum, nor has he made a decision on who to endorse.

(Per Willie Geist on Way Too Early)

We don't want this loser endorsing us. His drug dealing past would just be a black eye endorsement. From wikipedia:

"Dave Mustaine was born in La Mesa, California, to Emily and John Mustaine. His mother was Jewish but Dave was brought up as a Jehovah's Witness. By the age of 16, Mustaine had rented his own apartment and was surviving financially by dealing drugs.[3] One of his clients, Willow[citation needed], was often short of cash, but worked in a record store, so in return for drugs, she offered albums by artists such as Iron Maiden, AC/DC, Motörhead and Judas Priest in trade,[3] which helped form his taste in hard rock and heavy metal. In the late 1970s, Mustaine began playing electric guitar, most notably a B.C. Rich and joined a band known as Panic for a short time."

This is one of the wildest Mustaine interviews ever. He's talking about the wild time when his friend Glenn Tipton (legendary lead guitarist for Judas Priest) brought him to a Mexican bordello:
