McCain will lose BADLY to Obama

Obama already has the electoral college wrapped up, and unlike the 2 elections, he will win a southern state...Virginia, and he will get VERY close in Miss and GA, but he wont win either.

He wins default in the Northeast, DC, MD, DE, NJ, NY, PA, CT, MASS, RI, NH. And with it 110 electors.

In the Ohio valley to the Upper midwest, he wins by default MI, ILL, IA, MINN, WISC, and with those 5 he gets 65 electors

Default states in the rocky mountains and South.. none

Out west, he gets in default CA, OR, WA, and HI and with those 4 he gets 77 electors... so at this point he will have 252 electors, and remember these are the states he will win practically by default... the ONLY state listed above that would have been questionable would be IOWA, but the democratic machine has done its job at securing huge swaths of new registered voters and rallying them to huge turnouts. Also, in Iowa, Ohio, Missouri, and Pennsylvania, where rural white voters would typically vote for the Republicans, the vote goes to Obama all because up there the economy is the worst of anywhere else in the US, thus why Michigan of all the 50 states is a lock for Obama.

The borderline states that will go to Obama but by a safe or razor margin are ME, VT, VA, OH, MO, CO, and NV, and with those 7 states comes 65 more electors. taking the total to 317 electoral votes.

Surprise states for Obama may include NM, GA, MISS, and WV. thus propelling him to 348 on the electoral map.

In any event, you will see 10 to 12 percent of Hillary voters will NOT vote for a black man for president (over half wont vote in the general election) and other half goes to mccain) but Obama will pull in 99% black vote (thus why MISS and GA can even come into play), he will get a 70/30 majority of hispanic votes, he will get majority of women votes and he will get the majority of the independent votes.

In any event, Obama wins because he will have what McCain doesnt.. energy, drive, and best of all.. $$$$$

As for me, I wont be happy when Obama becomes president, but he wins with Mark Warner as his VP, and makes Virgina the kingmaker state. But I can tolerate and LIVE with Obama as president over McCain who I think truly is mentally unstable, because if he became president (and he wont!) I will feel 100 times worse than I did in 2004.

I suspect it's all part of the plan. The illusion is that there's an actual competition between the parties. It really seems like an elaborate sham to fool people into believing that we actually have a functioning democracy, and that their votes matter.

Hey, someone who gets it

I find it laughable that people say a Democrat will screw this country up, NO ONE can screw this up more than the republican that has been president the last 8 years. If you asked me 8 years ago that this country could be screwed up this bad I would of said no way. In George Bush tenure he devalued the dollar more than anyone could imagine, the economy is in the tank, and we had by far the worst attack in America since Pearl Harbor.

I can't think of one positive thing the republicans have done the last 8 years, I despise the path the republicans are heading, they are heading away from conservatism and towards a path of destruction of America. I want the republican party to go back to conservative values, the values we had before Ronald Reagan, I don't want Ronald Reagan conservatism of deficit spending. I want a fiscal responsible conservative, one who cuts spending and taxes, not one who increases spending and taxes.

With that said I will not vote for John Mccain. If the republicans are too ever go back to what they once were they must lose this election. If the republicans win we will see no change in republicans and we will continue to see a path towards liberalism in the republican party. The republicans needs to lose badly to wake them up. I would rather suffer for 4 more years through democrats than see this new republican look for 4 more years then see a new group of liberal republicans win the presidency. Things must change in the republican party and it won't happen with a win.

Really sad to read posts like this. After all the time someone like this has spent in this forum (700+ posts?) they seem to still think the Democratic party is much different.

"I find it laughable that people say a Democrat will screw this country up, NO ONE can screw this up more than the republican that has been president the last 8 years."

Ok, well hopefully in four years - after the Democrats have had their way with this country, perhaps you'll better appreciate Ron Paul's message. What Bush has done in his two terms as president is EXACTLY what virtually any president would have done (with the exception of Ron Paul)

I can't tell you how many Democrats over the past 6 or so years have been bitching about the "Patriot Act" and the "Illegal Wars" that they ALL VOTED FOR!!! NOW, they're all ready to CONTINUE waging war, CONTINUE to support the Patriot Act and similar anticonstitutional movements.

Are you serious?! Stop playing their game - you're just part of the problem if you do.

Now that Dr. Paul's not running third party, I'll be voting for Obama if he gets the nod.

Hillary & McCain frighten me.

I'm still shocked that Ron's not running third party. ;(

Strange, seeing more posts like this. I thought people really understood how futile it is to vote for the perceived lesser of two evils. *sigh*

Isn't it more futile to vote in a presidential primary for someone who's only running for Congress?

I'd support Ron Paul if he were in this to win. But closing the door on the third party is quitting in my opinion.

If you guys give up on Ron Paul just because he will not run third party, you have just given up hope completely of ever restoring the nation. You might as well either support his Congressional run or Presidential run! Save liberty!

In the interest of 'the movement' I believe it best if everyone who would have voted for Ron Paul would wait to see how Ron Paul will vote and then vote as he does, even if it means holding your nose.

We need to show the statists and the media we can unite and act as a block. We can be sure the statists and the media are counting on this movement to splinter.

I've been voting Libertarian for 20+ years, but would consider any alternative coordinated by the RPR.

Anyone voting for Obama (or McCain/Huckabee) is missing the picture.
All are the same side of the big Government coin. None, I daresay have read or can intelligently understand the Constitution of this country. All forget, time and time again, that this is a Republic that has been setup to protect the minority from the tyranny of the majority. Almost everything they promise defies the iron-clad writing in the constitution. Everything they do will erode personal liberty and collected it under the cumbersome purvue of an oppressive, unresponsive federal government.

The whole bicameral system been compromised. The US Government is leviathan that is one entity. The branches have been melded by special interests and executive orders. The system 'votes for itself perpetually' above all else. John Adams was wise beyond measure when he sought protections from tyranny by way of a true separations of powers. Today, with the blatant disregard for the Constitution in how laws have been legislated, passed, and interpreted, the protections are gone. The Constitution is a thespian in our current system.

George Bush worked from day one to concentrate power in the office of the President. No candidates at the top of the ticket will walk in and hand that back. We are headed for fascism. All of the good intentions and platitudes will not save this country from becoming a socialist failure. It is a system that has never worked. The previous iterations of this road to fascism are exactly what our ancestors migrated to escape. It is a system that we would not have to worry about if anyone paid the slightest attention to the Constitution.

All the Democratic Party has to do is beat the war issue to death using McCain's own words on video...then say if this man is elected president, kiss your children goodbye, because he will take them from you.

Obama is about as close to an outright communist as has ever run for the presidency. McCain is a CFR puppet. Obama is a communist.

But either way the NWO is one step closer to reality.

I don't see a chance in hell in McCain getting elected. All those polls showing him beating Hillary or Obama.. it may be like that now, but just wait till the 100 years in Iraq clip gets played over and over on national TV. Not to mention the republican party is not enthusiastic at all about him.

This going all over national TV can destroy McCain as well.

Chertoff predicts another attack on our soil...if that happens before the election who do you think will win?

If there is any Ron Paul supporter who still thinks voting for the lesser of two evils is a good strategy then they have completely missed a major part of Ron Paul's message.

The entire system is corrupt and voting for any person solely based on what Party they are in is a primary reason.

Vote for individual candidates, even if you have to write them in. I will write in Ron Paul for President if he isn't on the ballot either as a Republican or third party.

I think there is a person running for Congress in my district as a Republican that I can support, so I will vote for them.

For Senate I will either vote third party or, if there isn't a good choice, write in No One".

So while we still need to work within the established party structures in order to play the game, there is absolutely no reason to vote along Party lines.

All you Obama or McCain supporters take note.

"who do you think will win?"... whoever the media chooses.

Now.. if Bloomberg enters the race and sucks votes away from the Dems and Burr enters the race and sucks votes away from McCain then we've got something interesting happening.

Part of my sadistic side wants McCain to become elected so he will screw this country so hard, America will shake violently to a conscious state. Maybe then those who are too overly pacified to give a damn will educate themselves and become active.

Lol, that's exactly why I kind of want Hitlery to win
It's obvious that the democrats have woken up due to Bush's blundering. (Evidenced by 2:1 voter turnouts- some of the dems "losses" have involved more votes than McCain's "wins")
Now we just need the GOP to wake up too.

In the meantime:
I vote RON PAUL, and get some of the RON PAUL POLITICIANS into positions of power.
I win!

Well just look at how badly Bush has screwed the country. Now most people just want to run to the Democrats to save them from the fucked up Republicans. They actually think this will fix things.
