Marijuana Use May Increase Risk of False Memories

Your memories may be false if you try to recall events you witnessed while high on marijuana, a new study suggests.

It found that taking just one hit of the drug doubled people's number of false memories of a virtual reality scenario, CNN reported.

A false memory is one that didn't actually occur or one that differs from the way an event actually happened, often influenced by suggestions from other people.

I'm convinced that different body chemistries react differently to weed.

That's the only way to explain the different results some people seem to get.

No Idea,, but I got boxes of stuff I would like to forget.

Doesn't seem to work that way...

I have read a couple of those "studies" and the methodology involved..
Common Pseudoscience based on Hearsay answers to Leading Questions.

no actual science involved

Everybody reacts differently.. because "Individuality"..

or,, why collectivism is stupid.

I have photos of me with a much darker beard.

not false memory,, just memory.

That's pretty interesting, never heard that :D Do you think CBD oil can cause such false memories too? I have been taking it for some time, now I am worried :D

Doubts,,

But my wife is using oils now,, She doesn't smoke with me.

I find that a lot of people who generally don't smoke sometimes have very creative ways to handle memory when it comes to promises or remembering things they said. Just an observation.

I thought when we last talked about this we concluded that this study was false?

We did. Then dannno said he remembered Trump doing something--anything--to thwart the Deep State.

Evidence like that can't be dismissed out of hand.
