We are doomed, doomed.

How long has the Rubio Sales Campaign been going on, now? Six years? Eight?

When are they going to realize that just because they have the hots for this guy doesn't mean we will fall in love with him? I know they've invested a lot in helping him crash the tea party, but so did the Mad Hatter and no one ever elected him to office...

Token minority. The GOP desperately wants to get away from the privileged white guy thang.

Gee, neocon hispanics to get out the Republican base of old goats - 2016 could be close.

that same strategy to defame the non-interventionists will probably sadly work again
against a Ron Paul-advocate like his son in 2016.

All I have seen him do, is advocate for large scale worldwide intervention "for democracy" and to "protect America". Last time I checked, no one has a large enough ground force to invade and conquer us militarily.

Besides that, what ground-breaking, earth-shattering legislation has he authored and passed?

Bueller?

Bueller?

It's a cult of.....hell I don't even know why he has this cult!

It's an attempted cult of top-down manufactured populism.

And when it doesn't work, we'll probably start hearing about Santorum again.

I remember last January this asshole got so much heat on facebook for endorsing that HIPPA/SOPPA proposal, then bitching out of it like the two-faced monster he is.

What legislation has he filed?

What would he cut from the Federal budget to balance it?

Yep. Let's call it what it is... pandering.
And he doesn't have a cult. He has some establishment types trying to portray him as though he has a cult.

To be fair, Rand has fought his battles and changed bills but I'm lost as to his ground breaking achievment other than holding the team R rat bastards at bay

Rand:

Rubio:
http://www.govtrack.us/congress/bill...sponsor=412491

58 Rand vs 28 Rubio

Not that number is all that significant. If you compare the quality of the bills, it's laughable.
What a statesmen Rubio is! With bills like "S.Res. 236 (112th): A resolution designating September 2011 as National Spinal Cord Injury Awareness Month" he will assuredly usher in a new age of freedom from tyranny.

His signature legislation has been the GOP Dream Act (quickly withdrawn), no tax on Olympic gold medals, and a waiver for the birth control requirement of Obamacare.

Santorum pretty much said on Greta last night he's going to run for president.
After all, Santorum still needs a job after his short stint as a Pennsylvania Senator.
All while Senator Paul of Kentucky was giving the clues of a non-interventionalist principled presidency on CNN at the same time last night.

The Democrats have done everything they can to create that perception. Even pushing Rubio highlights that by making him out as the only one who doesn't fit their stereotype.

At least Rubio signed up to co-sponsor Rand's bill to Audit the Federal Reserve S.B. 209,
but Rubio's neocon rhetoric means that Rand would not be able to offer Rubio a cabinet post in 2016.
