Mainstream Republican candidate killer question for Politico debate. Comment here

Not to nitpick (I voted for both of your questions) but, if possible, you might wish to change "loose" to "lose." All things considered, great questions.

yeah tell me about it. After hours to thought crafting the questions to end up with a spelling mistake. Unfortunately no way for me to edit. The questions will be spoken though so it should be ok.

Thank you so much for the vote. Please help by spreading the word on these questions as much as possible. Even a lot of non RP supporters will vote these questions up for us if they know about them.

Getting to the top of the most popular list was hard, staying there is going to be harder.

Voted. The excellent Iraq question is still at the top but the question about defending freedoms across the world (McCain) is only at 14 :(

We need to get it up there!

Come on guys, we should ALL take the time to vote for this. We get beat around by the MSM on cable and radio all fucking day and night. Aren't you sick of it? Well the Internet is our turf -- this is our chance to throw some punches of our own. Assuming Politico actually does something with the questions, everybody will have egg on their faces except for you-know-who. This is a critical debate, and that could be really powerful. This should stay bumped forever.

Thanks so much for the vote and you support. Loved your comment about the net being our turf.

Please encourage as many people as possible to vote for these questions, even non RP supporters. Send to your facebook / myspace friends / email contacts if possible.

Thanks again.

I liked this one:

95. Question on: Education
Recent polls have shown that a fifth of Americans can't locate the U.S. on a world map. Why do you think this is?

Lmao. :D

what do you think of this question???
shouldn't we vote for this one?

Question on: Leadership
Congressman Ron Paul, I would like to ask you what are the leadership qualities that a US president should have; that you have? and the other candidates, each by their names, don't have?

The problem with those kind of questions is the obviousness. It sounds nice to supporters, but to others the question itself negates any effectiveness of the answer. It's too obviously a biased question. I didn't vote for any questions aimed at any specific candidate and the main ones I voted for were economic questions knowing that only Dr. Paul could answer them correct. Also he seems to speak better on the topic of economics.

makes sense

"Q2. "In the Florida debate Senator McCain said "we have american troops all over the world today and nobody complains about it because we are defending freedom. Thats one of the obligations of being the worlds super power."
Do the rest of you agree with Senator McCain and if so, what amount of taxpayer money will you allocate for this obligation?
Do you believe that a majority of American taxpayers also feel this obligation and want to fund the defense of freedoms across the world, while we loose our own."

Stop bumping the marijuana question at #18 right now. Of ALL of these questions they will ask ron paul THAT one because it turns off so many republican voters.

Bump. Someone post some good question, possibly mentioning the judicial watch most corrupt politicians. thatll defineltly have an impact.

I second that, they will use this question for the sole purpose of making ron paul look bad in the eyes of social "conservatives".

rewording it to make it simpler for the average voter. The point you are making is that the war is unconstitutional - and thats what RP has been saying. The problem is that most people dont have a clue about the constitution and dont question the actions of congress or the President. They could simply say that this war was approved like the past 3 were and people would think - oh it must be ok then. We have violated the constitution for so long now, I dont think the average American knows or cares.

I think its KEY for us to post questions that the average voter can relate to and be shaken up by. Like the cost of the war and its impact on his pocket book. Like not feeling a moral obligation to police the world but having to fund it. There are obviously a lot of great questions like these we can pose - and I hope we do. I worry that we pose questions that we as RP supporters consider so clear and logical but the average voter doesnt really care.

All this being said, Im happy to vote up the question if you have posted it.

Thoughts welcome.

Thank you for your input...As you have pointed out "average" Americans generally do not know or care...I see Dr. Paul's campaign as being in part an educational process...I am just guessing that those referred to as "average" are most likely the generation between mine (60 and over) and yours (assuming you are younger)...most of my generation have some understanding of the constitution... Dr. Paul needs support from all generations...If my question lifts even the most minimal number of people to question the constitutional lack of authority, I believe there is some gain...I see it from this position, if we continue to skirt educating the "average voter", we treat people as they presently are, dumbed down and doomed...I hold to the principle that it is necessary to lift the level of knowledge of everyone by through education...The more that are educated to Dr. Paul's message, the more support he has..

As far as the opposition saying "simply say that this war was approved like the past 3", that is a non-answer, it is political rhetoric and non-responsive...that is why I chose to pre-qualify their answer...Over the years I have found that education is the key to getting others to understand a given position...Most of us were given the opportunity to learn most all of the things they know today...

I am not going to post the question anywhere else but others may freely do so if they believe it has merit...

Thanks for your response, I do appreciate it...This is how we all share and learn...
