questions 23 and 24 should really get our votes

23. Question on: Economy
The Federal Reserve recently propped up the markets with an emergency rate cut, which experts agree will create yet another bubble. Do you believe that the government should continue to delegate the power to control our economy to a private banking institution, that has no congressional oversight?

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

24. Question on: Economy
Could you please explain in detail your understanding of the Federal Reserve Bank?

I voted for them as written. Splitting hairs is just going to dilute our vote and NASA will end up at the top...

Just vote for the OP's suggestions.

I suggest we not vote for #4 - too obvious as a RP question and does nothing to connect to the problems the fed creates.
Obviously its your call

HUGE question submitted and added to the list

If you believe we need to win the war in Iraq to make progress in the war on terror, do we not need to start and win wars in all countries that harbor Islamic fundamentalists since they are the proclaimed enemy? Do you agree with Senator McCain's statement two weeks ago when he said "I'm sorry to tell you, theres going to be other wars".

Please post the position of the question on the list here, when you vote so others can find it.

special gifts for McCain at the CNN debate

Check out the "there will be more wars question" here http://www.dailypaul.com/node/29918 and please vote for it.

I want to see the look on McCains face when they ask this - and the other candidates except paul have to decide to take McCain to the cleaners (and flip flop on their own war position) or to support him (and look like the war monger he is).

What an amazing question.

Sorry to break this to you but GOP voters are looking for someone who will attempt to win the war in Iraq.

The only people who will think this is an amazing question are Ron Paul voters. Democrat voters would probably enjoy it as well, but they won't be watching, and if they are won't even have time to register for the GOP if they are so suitably amazed by an answer which all 3 of their candidates give already.

And of course the other candidates won't flip-flop. They will simply defend the war in different ways, talk about responsibility and patriotism, and Paul will be alone against all of them, ridiculed for his 'defeatist' view.

Cant you see what is going to happen here? A few cheers after Ron answers, but not a single vote going to him from the GOP because of it. Just alienates him more from them.

GOP voters may be looking to win in Iraq but do they want another war????

I do NOT agree. I do not believe that GOP voters want a war with Iran, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia etc. 70% of the country is against the current war!

Its one thing to support this war - but something totally different to support additional wars!

Look on the forum I posted a link to in one of my posts.

But now I really do give up. You have turned this into your own personal quest, which is probably the biggest wasted chance of the campaign. We had the chance for a perfect question, instead we get one which alienates Paul.

And no, they probably dont want long term war, but the question is about Iraq, which plays right into the hands of all the other candidates. The question is top probably because partly our effort, but probably because all the other candidates supporters think it's good as well. Gives them a chance to prove their patriotism.

And it is currently 60% against the war. The average undecided Republican voter (the only person we care about as Democrats wont be watching, and even if they are they wont bother to change their party membership to GOP to vote for one issue which all 3 of their candidates have) is pro war. Check whatever poll, quote etc you want to verify that.

Dont bother replying, just keep bumping this so more people can help sleepwalk our way into a ridiciulously stupid decision.

3. Question on: Iraq
The Soviet Union collapsed primarily for economic reasons - most notably the Afghanistan conflict where the modern day Al Qaeda bogged them down for years and bled them fiscally dry. My question for the candidates is thus: When we look at our current deficits and state of the economy, how exactly are we winning the War on Terror, and are we or are we not falling into the same Al Qaeda trap as the Soviet Union?

No wars question is climbing - please help it - vote here

I approve of the Top 4 in this forum, but I would like to see this question movie up to Number 5!

52. Question on: Leadership
My question is to CNN and the Moderators of the Debate: Will you show the highest ethical and moral journalism standards in hosting this debate by asking EACH candidate the SAME number of questions and affording EACH candidate the SAME amount of total response time? By doing this, you allow EACH American the opportunity to make an informed and educated decision.

Oh and what's the deal with all the NASA questions? I know it's been asked, but not answered. Seriously the volume is ridiculous. How many Republicans are in favor of big NASA spending anyway?
