None of the bill of rights amendments have an enforcement mechanism. Following your logic, congress can modify or eliminate your rights via legislation.

You are seriously not listening to yourself. If that argument could be made... and the current government is keeping one side off the ballot in order to prevent them from having their preferred representation... then what other recourse could they possibly have?? If this is a representative republic, but the State is going to choose which representatives it deems acceptable, then we have already lost any possible political solution.

The argument will immediately be "The state decides that all the time with age restrictions and national origin restrictions and so on"

When you and I both know that you are talking about politically disqualifying, of holding opinions and advocating policy that the regime finds subversive, impolitic or distasteful.

Also something like an age restriction is objective. "Engaged in Insurrection" is highly subjective.

Democrats impeached Trump, Republicans are impeaching Biden. I think both are probably warranted.

Republicans are already calling to have Biden removed from the ballot, but have presented no grounds. The grounds to remove Trump are in my opinion valid. I don't think current scotus will agree.

Sure there is a fair chance it turns into a shooting civil war, but people are lazy now, more likely they will probably just post on twitter and facebook.

I very much doubt Trump will be gone when he loses. Democrats will continue keeping him in the news cycle post 2024 so they can continue using him to destroy the GOP. No way are they going to let their gigantic cash cow just walk off into the sunset. Hell, they're probably already telling Trump to run in 2028 so he can lose to Harris.

People believe what they want to believe, don't they? The supposed grounds for Trump's impeachment have pretty much been acknowledged by all sides as baseless, except for the hardcore left. Meanwhile, there is ample evidence for Biden's many impeachable offenses, top of the list the bribery and the willful neglect of his duties in controlling the US borders. And no one can seriously argue that Biden himself is mentally competent at this point.

If there are no grounds for Biden to be "removed from the ballot", then how is "impeaching Biden [...] probably warranted"?

Or to put it the other way around:

If "impeaching Biden [is] probably warranted", then how can there be no grounds for Biden to be "removed from the ballot"?

I believe that Joe was complicit in Hunter's overseas illegal deals. I believe that Joe Biden and his family including his son and brothers have been taking bribes for a long time.
I think those are grounds for impeachment. Various GOP figures have called for Biden to be removed from the ballot in red states, but have not articulated a reason why. Impeachment alone isn't a reason to be removed from a ballot.

If Jan 6 is an insurrection then what is happening at the border is an invasion.

This government, with Biden at its head, not only refuses to do its duty as required by the constitution, but is actively assisting and giving aid and comfort to the invading enemy.

That is treason and insurrection.
