Let me count the ways:

(1) they are sheltered from the human condition, leading to extremely false conclusions about life on this planet
(2) they are historically ignorant of events that came before them
(3) they project their own altruistic ideals on others who actually share no such sentiments
(4) they have a simplified misunderunderstanding of commerce and production.

The issue here is trying to use her online character to paint her as an unfit candidate. That to me is making the accusers look like morons, and in fact giving her political stances credence as they are attacking her gaming instead of her policy stances.

Liberty people need to relax on the anti-Socialist hatred; to people who believe that government can be legitimate, "socialist" means, "fair." They perceive that the corporations that currently OWN THE GOVERNMENT are very wealthy (and guilty of polluting the world and starting/profiteering from war and from poor health/toxicity) and that the people actually doing work are scared, broke, and without a future. These are noble and good sentiments for people to have that speak to their desire to see justice done.

In my county, our GOP is very much anti-young people. The older people just act as though the only legitimate opinions about anything were formed before 1990, and that any divergence from these views is in fact not a republican viewpoint. They are rigid, old, lonely, miserable sexless haters. And they will not win any elections in this county. And yet, any criticism of them, even if directed toward advancing the party as an electoral force, just goes unheard. Crazy young guy, talking about young people again! Over-ripe fruit that rots even on the branch- would that a storm come, and shake this worm-eaten rot from the branches.

if you haven't had enough your own share of experience of people walking all over you once you 'relax' and 'relent', spare me the extra load before it reaches your limit of being walked all over and kicked around down the road, as if it distributes burden at least psychologically if not one person is bullied and treated like trash but you managed to grab 2, or 3 to be down with you

if you haven't noticed, people on the left like to start with small things, a small terminology, make you retreat on a small corner then take a giant leap. there's a reason why they are called 'progressives'. you draw somewhere in the sand and let everyone knows it is not to be crossed. play around to appease them all you want because you feel it is politically incorrect or doesn't appeal to left's sensibility to use a term as 'socialist', i'm just not as obsequious as you are.

I think that we need to rethink what "socialist" means to most people. It doesn't mean what it does to Liberty people.

.. why the ef do i care what socialist means to some people? you can have 100 ways to spell apple before you learn how to spell it. some people can't even point USA on a map and people's mind changes all the time when they are uninformed. why don't you look at the weather and think what socialist might mean for them today? i talked to my uncle's business partners this past weekend. the last time i talked to them in 2010, they didn't even know who ron paul was. this time i purposely said some people feel ron paul is too pacifist, to get their reaction, they actually defended him and said we needed real change. people's mind changes all the time as they become more informed. you stand your damn ground so you don't change with them, and when the day comes they will remember who was right all along. it's people with your attitude that makes any movement short-lasting. go repent.

Would you happen to be one of these shining stars in Maine who cooked up this idea for an attack strategy? What you seem to be missing is that I'm in no way defending this woman's stances on the issues, I'm merely pointing out that if her opponent was such a better choice then there are many other ways to make that distinction. By trying to drag this woman's name through the mud for playing online games, they've pretty much conceded they can't win on substance.

no see thats rather absolute and ridiculous and untrue. How can I own myself as some kind of island of self-reliance? I came out of my moms vagina, after my dads balls cooked me up. I only survived childhood because of the contributions of other people. I don't die when I walk down the road because people decide not to murder me with their vehicles. "Socialists" understand this.

None of that is socialism. Never mind the red herring. Self-ownership doesn't imply anything about self-reliance, merely, that you own your self, your labor, and from such ownership property originates. You can enter into a commune if you want, or a socialist monastery, or a Home Owners Association - the point? It is your choice, your will, your want - not someone else forcing you, coercing you, and violating your will and property rights. That's all that Self-propriety is. It appears you do not understand what the hell you are talking about and before you lecture 'us' you should go back to the library and read some more because you are out in the boonies.
