well, I think this is a legitimate attack angle. think about it... someone who is addicted to an online game. or is susceptible to being addicted. I'd have trouble for voting for a Ron Paul republican if this was the case for them.
Her gaming behavior indicates she is running for office for the fun of it, and does not have any long term aims or goals...
Just by going off of her character's pic there, she doesn't play that often at all I'd say. The gear she has on, if my memory serves me, is regular quest rewards. There's now the raidfinder option that takes all of an hour to clear the 'endgame' content and get the highest level of gear, so if she isn't even doing that, she's not playing very often at all. She'd be better off making the move to Guildwars 2 like I did, you pay for the box and then no sub after that.![]()
I read this the other day and it made me want to spit nails, THIS is what our nation's politics have come to!? I seriously hope this isn't our people up there doing this, because this is simply pants on head retarded.
At this point, she should start going after the WOW vote, explaining to people that "they're next." If playing that game makes her unfit for office, it will also make people unfit for employment. In fact, WOW better start contributing to her campaign or campaigning on her behalf, or they might be next, themselves.
i play gw2 too.
i played a lot of MMO's back in my younger days. i lead a guild for 7 years. guilds are a bit socialists. stronger players help weaker/low lvl players with crafting, leveling, or getting past content. basically people help each other =p.
That's not a bad idea.
I'm an older man, and as a general rule, very skeptical of video games (all technology as a rule) and don't play them myself.
And this is ridiculous.
You're skeptical of all technology? Kudos for admitting that. I wouldn't do that in a million years. Also, you're on an internet forum....
(even tho WoW is special class of nerdy).
Are they the ones sinking this low?Why all of the criticism of the Maine GOP? Remember, Ron Paul people are in the key positions in the Maine GOP.
