Madonna's Half Time Show was satanic

Alright , you guys are creeping me out . This is how it works ; it is a thirty minute halftime . You go to the bathroom , swing by the kitchen , get a couple more beers , another bratwurst with onions and mustard , smack Momma on the butt , get a kiss , settle back in and , time for the kickoff :)

Been awhile since I've watched a 'Super-Bowl' but that is how I remember it.

I agree with you. It was very bizarre.

I'm in the minority - I thought it was absolutely brilliant, and I am not a Madonna fan by any stretch of the imagination. I think the message was certainly about the worship of false idoltry, and we all know how that worked out for the Romans. Then bring out the cheerleaders, the marching bands....suddenly it's about the glorification of football. Add pop idols dressed as clerics, and she captured the American tendency to not give a crap about the rest of the world. We worship ourselves.

Interesting.

I didn't watch the superbowl (yea, total geek!), nor am I disappointed that I missed the half time... LOL. I am really not surprised by what I am reading. I have seen and heard things in regards to Madonna's "spirituality".... LOL.
I have only had time to skim this thread and briefly scroll facebook...... but this is floating around facebook this morning and seems like it might fit in with the subject matter being discussed here. Havent watched it yet....... but looks interesting.

The only thing I liked about the half-time show was the end where they had the message "World Peace" over the field.

There is only one candidate that is truly seeking world peace and that is Ron Paul!

Its interesting how some of you assume this or that about me when really I am just analyzing what the half time performance was. I for one like to reflect on what the media in america is up to lately. The Superbowl half time show is part of what the media produces, and because of that I felt the need to break down the bizarre show that went on during a supposedly "family event". If you do not believe trends can be dangerous to a child's mind then fine, that's your opinion. No I don't advocate the FEC either, but I look at tv as a whole entire brainwash machine to weak minds. We know that the majority of america believes and brings into their home and their minds what they hear and see on tv and make it acceptable. I think the direction of this country altogether is showing from principles to entertainment it is all becoming darker.

Oh, you must be using that outdated 20th century definition of the word, "Peace". How quaint! We must get you a copy of the newspeak dictionary.

I know the guys pulling her on the the beginning were gladiators, in reference to the lyrics of one of the songs.

Instead of jumping to conclusions you should find out who staged and directed it, what their style is, if they've done anything like this before... etc.

I was wondering why she went down into smoke? I thought that looks like hell but ... that cant be.. bizarre I have lost all my discernment as Ive gotten older.

I thought it was one of the more entertaining halftime shows. That must have cost a ton of money to put together for a one-time event.

Geez...c'mon people...its Madonna...its art...some hate it some like it.

frankly, if you want devil music, i prefer Black Sabbath, by Black Sabbath.

Its all good in my opinion.

With all the advertising dollars coming in for the super bowl it was mere chump change. Many only tune in for the half-time show, so they get even extra money for advertising slots just before and after the half-time show.

No, you're not a geek for not watching the superbowl. I didn't watch it either and have zero interest in most sports.

About the video:  LOL! I'm only half-way through it, but maaan.... He is being blunt but it's very interesting so far. Within the first minute or so he mentioned the 'baphomet' headdress, so we're not the only ones here who had that thought. :D

Ok, I'm going to watch the rest, thanks for posting it.

CA.....are you familiar with Vigilant Citizens website? If not, you are in for a treat. He's been dissecting satanic/Illuminati music video's for years. I'm sure he's working on doing a blog about this one right now ;).

lol....I went to get you VC's websites link and he already has the article up about it. Check this out and browse his website for more (including other Madonna/gaga/beyonce/etc, music vids).

Madonna is into some strange stuff but it is her right to practice whatever religious sect or beliefs that she wants. That being said I thought it was some pretty bizarre imagery, terrible music, and piss poor lip synching. It is a sad state of affairs in the world of music when recycled garbage from the 80's and 90's is repackaged and presented as popular, let alone the "singers" that guest star in said garbage with their own variant of one-hit wonders. Repeating a rhyming phrase 40 times is not music.

I'm still trying to figure out what the hell happened to madonna's british accent.
meh. People have been "recycling" music for about as long as music has existed. (there's an old musicologists' joke-"Vivaldi didn't write 500 concertos: he wrote one concerto 500 times" :D lolz) That's another reason I don't mind "copying". It creates more products to meet the demand for popular tunes. However, it does reflect rather badly on popular culture that Madonna's "work" is so popular.

Well, those were members of the marching band in the background. I will admit... I am not very educated regarding football... but how do we know the act wasn't just a part of the team themes?
