Madonna's Half Time Show was satanic

not ironic, you subscribe to the same ideas, so you are likely to come to the same conclusions. Doesn't mean you're both right though.

I didn't subscribe to an "idea". I looked at what was visually happening and what Madonna has done in the past. I have an artists mind,a musical mind..I see things different than most people do because as an artist I am aware of the fingerprint other artists like to leave within their work or actions. When I watch a movie I quickly begin analyzing the directors expression by observing the cinematography the editing of sequences in a scene and what is all around being portrayed/expressed. If you think musicians/artists are shallow to have a simple print on their creations then you are naive. I definitely observed some subliminal expressions in her performance and thats my conclusion.

it is precisely because I don't think it's shallow that i don't buy your interpretations.
You subscribe to the ideas that 3rd eye, horns and pentagrams can only be satanic and nothing less.

Thank you for this thread. It made me laugh and frown and facepalm all in a row. It also gave me my simultaneously favorite and least favorite quote of current forum threads: Satan was known to be a musician before his fall.

Oh and those black robes at the end are a dead giveaway. They are obviously Satanic in nature.

She has been setting this up for AGES!!!

Ezekiel 28:13 - Thou hast been in Eden the garden of God; every precious stone was thy covering, the sardius, topaz, and the diamond, the beryl, the onyx, and the jasper, the sapphire, the emerald, and the carbuncle, and gold: THE WORKMANSHIP OF THY TIMBRELS AND OF THY PIPES WAS PREPARED IN THE DAY THAT THOU WAST CREATED.

Isaiah 14:11
New International Version (NIV)

11 All your pomp has been brought down to the grave,
along with the noise of your harps;
maggots are spread out beneath you
and worms cover you.

Sounds to me like Madonna is a Christian. What's the big fuss? She worship the Fallen Angel instead of the Divinely Father? I think a lot of people forget that 'Satanists' are still after-all Christian.

I'm in the minority - I thought it was absolutely brilliant, and I am not a Madonna fan by any stretch of the imagination. I think the message was certainly about the worship of false idoltry, and we all know how that worked out for the Romans. Then bring out the cheerleaders, the marching bands....suddenly it's about the glorification of football. Add pop idols dressed as clerics, and she captured the American tendency to not give a crap about the rest of the world. We worship ourselves.

Fwiw, I think you were more accurate with your perceptions on the matter. I was amused/surprised at the in your face roman gladiator format (at first, but this is Madonna soooo...)and interpreted the performance to mean people are worshiping football while the world (I wouldn't say country because she seems more of a globalist) burns. I was more surprised at the fact it wasn't a performance for the audience but a political statement.(again initial reaction, then oh yeah...this is Madonna we are talking about) Having watched her pre-game interview I think it would be interesting to know what she asked for initially in artistic liberty, but she sounded like she was able to negotiate for what she wanted in the end and since it has left so many people discussing the performance seems like she probably achieved what she set out for...

I didn't watch the superbowl (yea, total geek!), nor am I disappointed that I missed the half time... LOL. I am really not surprised by what I am reading. I have seen and heard things in regards to Madonna's "spirituality".... LOL.
I have only had time to skim this thread and briefly scroll facebook...... but this is floating around facebook this morning and seems like it might fit in with the subject matter being discussed here. Havent watched it yet....... but looks interesting.

Dice said there was a UN symbol etc. I did catch the creepy eye when I watched the show on Youtube, because I also missed it live.

It's possible she's been playing too much Skyrim:

Or the folks who made Skyrim are Satanists too?
