MADDOW VIDEO IS UP! Rachel was great!

It's a real challenge having to listen to a Cecil Rhodes collectivists, no matter the venue or guest.

I like how he called out the Grinch.

Oh and Rachel Maddow has a crush on Dr. Paul. ;) (yes i know what your going to say)

I'm almost bound to say that she is too soft (omg) on the good doctor. Only in the sense that she doesn't really give counterpoints on issues, like o-say, welfare that she disagrees with him on.

Some say that shes just using him to hate on the Republican party. Well, thats fine, she brings him on to give some schooling.

She has always been great to Dr Paul. I managed to sit through the rest of her program which was no easy task and was pleased to see the director of the NAACP bring RP up and agree that we need freedom and to stick to the constitution.

Wow, Ron Paul's Fed audit bill has 124 cosponsors already in Congress?

RP is hands down the most successful of all the Republican leaders in bringing about any change bottom up. McCain, Palin, Huck are followers of trends/polls and Ron Paul is a true leader.

Yeah, he is a Republican who will say bad things about the Republican party. That is a useful commodity for MSNBC, and that's why she doesn't disagree with him on air.

But whatever the reason she had him on, I'm happy she did. :)

Too bad no body will see it this way.

RP scored big points. One of his top 5 interviews most definitely. Rachel also set him up for success, so I am grateful to her. She's a sharp cookie and does her homework. Maybe we'll flip her to the Revolution before 2012. RP has a gay friendly platform once you realize that there should be no tax law related to marriage anyway.

Maddow is probably the closest thing to a real journalist in MSNBC, though that's not really saying much. Good interview, but I still have no interest in her show nonetheless.

Rachel did a great job. I also pleased he is getting good exposure. Its LONG overdue.

She did give him and the grassrooters the proper credit for developing the modern-day tea parties. Maybe Maddow will turn out like Naomi Wolf and get interested in libertarianism.

Yeah...at least she has guests with different viewpoints and philosophies on her show as opposed to Olbermann's "Echo Chamber Hour"...*ehhemm*...I mean "Countdown."

pffft...

Anybody remember her story on 'teabagging'? She had a guest on that she flirted with, used sexual language and made fun of the Tea Bag events as a far right wing FOX fueled agenda?! Ive never been so disgusted by a news broadcast in my entire life... well besides FOX censoring Paul.

Im glad she was fair to Paul, I suppose thats what journalists are supposed to do anyway. Her brand of journalism can go the way of the Doe Doe Bird. IMHO she is an unprofessional hack.

She agrees with Dr. Paul on more issues than you might think. The fork in the road for her appears to be social programs and monetary policy. Everything else, like Kucinich, they appear to be in violent agreement on.

Allot more in common with her than the idiots who hijacked the tea party message.

Naomi Wolf is interested in libertarianism? It seemed to me that she literally screamed fascism when Bush was in office, toured the nation warning about a fascist coup, but when the Democrats got in, she started skipping around saying "WE MADE IT!!!";' and of course, a large percentage of the people following her work stood down.

She's somehow oblivious to the fact that the leadership of her party is just as fascist as the leadership of the neo-cons, is directly advancing the ten-step agenda she outlined in "End of America", and that we're STILL seeing hyped crisis and profit on the part of government and corporations. I would be interested to hear her opinions on how the Obama administration has expanded on or defended every Bush policy, especially their support of the PATRIOT Act.

She also refers to "America's democracy" in almost every instance I've ever seen her, reinforcing the broken perception that the USA is a democracy and not a constitutional republic. She doesn't seem to know the difference, or doesn't want to acknowledge there is a difference.

Either she has HUGE partisan bias or is a hypocrite. I mean come on..."not even Barack Obama can take on the special interests"...sounds like she's giving Obama a free pass. Also, listen to the second video above about her views on Obama handling torture...

I would LOVE to hear her (supposed) opinions on this now.

Olbermann and Chris Matthews need to take lessons from this lady.

People like her are willing to accept soft fascism as long as their "progressive" ideals are on the agenda.

I have always liked and respected Rachel, even though I think she is flat out wrong in her "liberal" view of the role of government. She still doesn't get that it's not the abuse of power, but having the power to abuse in the first place - as they say. Power will always be abused and the type of people inclined to seek power are those inclined to abuse it. She doesn't quite grasp that facism doesn't only come with an ugly face. It can come looking like kindness and compassion. She has always genuinely liked and respected Dr. Paul and has said good things about him for a long time.
