List of Amendments to Watch for NDAA FY 2014...to be updated throughout week!

Urge defeat on the NDAA now. This bill increases debt, cut almost nothing, and offends liberty.

Look forward to seeing roll calls later on this afternoon. We will learn true patriots from RINOs, liberals, and neo-cons.

Polis amendment limiting funding for missile program until certified by dod is up next. yes vote urged.

GESUS, the INMATES are running the Congressional Madhouse... HORRIBLE voting/spending

NOTICE how all those amendments to the DEFENSE PROGRAMS BILL are timed AFTER the White House/State Department/Fascist Main Stream Media broadcasted the CHEMICAL WEAPONS used by Assad in Syria? The "RED LINE" BS, Fascist Corporate Media Propaganda... on and on. Soooo Predictable, the entire government game is scripted.

Gibson amend: to strike from the DEFENSE BILL, funds and using any means possible to remove Assad from power. CONGRESS wants WAR 301-123

McCollum Amend: prohibiting funds from being used to sponsor Nat'l Guard, wrestling, and NASCAR events. CONGRESS wants MORE Advertising spending 289-134

Nolan Amend: Cut total funds authorized in DEFENSE BILL by $60 Billion, because CONGRESS increased DOD spending by $52 BILLION above FY2013 levels. CONGRESS wants MORE Defense Spending 352-72

Coffman Amend: Returning the US Army 2nd Cavalry Regiment stationed in Vilseck, Germany return them back to the US to reduces costs: CONGRESS wants 2nd Cavalry to STAY IN GERMANY 313-110

Polis Amend: reduces funding for advanced ground-base interceptor missiles, until meeting all full certification testing. CONGRESS doesn't care about certifications/functionality. SPEND NOW on MISSILES for Alaska 278-143

NDAA FY 2014 Passes. :(

All roll call votes coming soon. 315-108...17 GOPers and 91 Democrats oppose bill. Will be interesting to see roll call vote.

This thread and Barbara Lee's contributions should help people like Compromise to understand why, even though I'd never vote for them, I do respect the actual anti-war people on the left. I mean, as far as politicians go, anyway. Bachmann, by contrast, just wants to make the military bigger and she's supposedly a "Tea Party" figure. Honestly, it doesn't matter. Either you're in the liberty movement or you're not. Granted, there are degrees of being a liberty supporter, but there aren't different types. If you suck on war, that leads to sucking on the economy and sucking on freedom in general. You can be good on foreign policy issues but suck on fiscal policy issues, but it can't really be the other way around. That's why I prefer the Barbara Lees and the Dennis Kucinichs over the Lindsey Grahams and the John McCains even though I'd never vote for anyone who isn't at least as "libertarian" as Senator Lee is, barrng some very unusual circumstances (I'd probably vote for anyone to get rid of Tom Cotton, for instance, if I lived in Arkansas.)

Roll Calls are out:
