More exports is good for us, we don't want to be dependent on it like China is (all things in moderation), but it is good for us, we don't want to completely eliminate imports either, we need them for tariff revenue to eliminate the income tax, but less imports is also good for us.

Trump is getting us less imports, more exports, and a switch from the income tax to tariffs.
