George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, and James Madison...history began in Virginia.
Washington, the man who warned us of entangling alliances and a prominent leader in the American Revolution.
Jefferson, who opposed the creation of a National Bank and author of the Declaration of Independence.
Madison, the Father of the US Constitution.
Qualities that Ron Paul all preach.
Ron Paul stands for a foreign policy that prevents us from troubling ourselves in entangling alliances such as the United Nations. If we go to war, we go to war as a country, not as a decision of one man or one group.
Ron Paul is the only candidate remaining in the GOP primary who has served on the United States military. It's silly to refute his stance on war when in fact, he's the only candidate that has actually experienced it first-hand. There must be a reason why our US troops support Paul on his path to the Republican nomination.
Ron Paul has led a movement that strives to audit and eliminate the Federal Reserve, citing it as the reason why the value of the US dollar has depreciated by 99% over the past 99 years. Secret loans? Bailouts? All busted.
Ron Paul is the one candidate that stands up for states rights and actually defends the United States Constitution. Under a Paul presidency, it is a guarantee that states will receive the power they deserve, power that the Federal government has no authority to hold. Every bill sent to office will be checked by Paul -- through the United States Constitution. Undeclared wars will be no more. Madison is the Father of the Constitution; Paul is the Champion of the Constitution.
Paul is the leader of an intellectual revolution that has exponentially grown in numbers. The people are fed up with that state of the country and establishment-backed candidates, who have proven that they have done nothing except take away our civil liberties, gone to war without the nod from the American people, increased government intervention in our daily lives, and increased our national debt year after year. Paul has been called 'unelectable'...tell that to Ronald Reagan.
Our Founding Fathers - Washington, Jefferson, Madison among them - would be ashamed today. It's time we unite the country under the real patriot in the race.
Virginia, please do us a favor and vote for the candidate who actually promises to deliver on promises he makes, unlike Mitt Romney, who has been on all sides of an issue. Rich history can't just fade into oblivion. It needs to be brought back, and it's the only way we will restore America.
