Leaving Mitt to join Ron Paul

Welcome aboard, let me suggest that you read Ron Paul's book "A Foreign Policy Of Freedom" which explains Ron Paul's foreign policy stance in depth using his speeches on the House floor. I suggest this since Mitt Romney and Ron Paul have strong differences in those stances. After finding out what Dr Paul bases his stance on you will not have to worry about Dr Paul being weak on terror. We are an educated and enthusiastic crowd at the ronpaulforums I hope you enjoy your stay.

i ordered his book via amazon a few days - it should be here by monday

thanks

E Komo Mai !!! (Welcome)

Us Ron Paul types are remarkably diverse. And, in the passionate spirit of liberty, notably vocal in the expression of our varied ideals. You're going to run across all types in here, enjoy!

:D

also check out the good doctors issues page, ronpaul2008.com/issues

Youtube is ripe with informational videos regarding all of his stances. I would suggest you read a book called "the creature from jekyl island" to better understand ron pauls stance on the Federal Reserve.

Good to have you here, welcome to the forums.

Welcome to the forums. I didn't read through any pages of this thread, so forgive me if this has been posted; Ron Paul attracts a very diverse crowd-- Mormons, Baptists, Atheists, and everything in between. Sometimes there will be a jerk or two who will make snide remarks that put down an entire religion, or a single individual. While some of these are legit jerks, we believe that some of them are fake supporters that come here to cause a ruckus.

Either way, just don't let those comments, conversations, or arguments offend you. We have to get Ron Paul elected. We have to get Ron Paul elected so that you have the right to be a Mormon, I have the right to be an uber-conservative Baptist, the atheists have a right to be atheists, and the jerks have the right to be jerks.

don't fool me- thats a spoof forum!

lol took 15 posters to realize that. I only hope the rest didnt follow the links as to not give the site traffic.

OP, not sure if this is serious or a joke, but nice to see you come out of the woodwork.

quote from the above forum said:
I would be very careful about supporting someone like ron paul. He is a well known KKK member who believes blacks should be deported. 99% of his supporters are KKK members. Your family, nieghbors, local police, and church members will assume you are also a member of the KKK. It will effect your future. Best not to embarase yourself in that way.

BWAWAhahahahahahahaaaaaa!!!!!!!!!
I am seriously in tears...

I have been supporting Mitt to the tune of about $800 so far.

I'm not trying to cause chaos - i'm telling the truth - and am saddened by Mitt's choice to go negative on Ron Paul. Ron's choice to defend Mitt on Jay Leno was awesome - he stood up for the constitution and protected Mitt's right to freedom of religion (and mine for that matter) while condemning those that would not vote for Mitt because of his religion.

When I saw Mitt make fun of on Ron Paul last night during the debate - I was ashamed of Mitt. It added the "fuel to the fire" of why my support started shifting to Ron Paul last month - and now i'm 100% on board and a precinct leader for Ron Paul. Mitt will remain my #2 choice. I truly had hoped that Mitt and Ron would join forces as Mitt is an incredible executive and leader. Unless Mitt apologizes to Ron and will compromise his positions I doubt this will happen. (btw - i see some common ground with Mitt and Ron between cutting spending, smaller government, getting out of iraq)

A number of members of my church just in the Fairfax VA area alone that I know - are now supporting Ron Paul.

I am glad that you are with us. It is always great to see a new person on the forums that is working to help this great country. Welcome.
