LOLOLOLOL
You are quite right, but late to the party.
Trump isn't there to destroy the GOP.
That's already been done.
There's nobody left to run.
The people had their chance at a Milie in 2012, and rejected him.
They had their chance at a neocon hawk, and rejected him.
They had their chance at straight laced "moderate", and rejected him.
They had their chance at a bull in the china shop wrecker, and rejected him.
So there is nothing left.
Demographics determine elections.
Yep. This country is in desperate need of a third party, but the population is so convinced and coerced by the current duopoly that their only options are D or R that they simply refuse to consider any other party.
Are they? Or are they just reluctant to make the leap because they don't believe their neighbors will make the leap with them?
Oh sure, no doubt.
But I am not at all convinced that this is a false number entirely.
Yes, roughly half the voting public, likes things just the way they are and want more.
Especially the young.
ETA, from the Emerson poll -
“Biden leads Trump among voters under 30, 43% to 37%, with 20% undecided. When these voters are forced to choose between Biden and Trump and their support is included in the total, 58% support Biden and 42% Trump,” Spencer Kimball, executive director of Emerson College Polling, said.
Haley primary voters break for Biden in the general election, 63% to 27%, with 10% undecided. In 2020 these voters broke for Biden 52% to 36%.
I'll never forget the survey that said she had a 99% chance of winning. They weren't just saying she was going to win... it was going to be a landslide.
What were the polls saying in 2016?
I believe most polls back then were saying Hillary was going to win.
They weren't just saying she was going to win... it was going to be a landslide.

Among respondents between the ages of 18 and 24, 65 percent said they believe he would "shake up the country for the better," while only 35 percent view him as a "danger to democracy," according to the poll, which surveyed 2,022 registered voters from February 21 to 22.
What were the polls saying in 2016?
It was the scumbag MMOs that were hyping all the Hillary landslide talk.
