Thanks for trying KY. If you did your best, thats all we can ask but dont give up.
This slimy GOP that rules today will soon fall if we stay with the plan and stay in for the long haul.

That's right. We have incumbent neocons in the Senate and House that we can work to have replaced in two years. Along with getting them out at the local levels as well. There is a lot of cleaning house to do.
One friend (who was a lifelong Republican) was so ticked off, he went home and recruited 5 people into the Constitution Party that same night.
As for me, I think I'll probably stay with the Republicans. Most members I've talked to are not as corrupt as the leadership, and the leaders can't stand long without the people behind them. I'm still going to the National Convention as well! Ron Paul is the new head of the Republican Party as far as I'm concerned!
I would be surprised if any of them had a change of heart. From their point of view, the Ron Paul supporters were the ones who were out of line. To be a good republican, you do what you're told and trust your party leaders. The leaders and big wigs in the party didn't want discussion or interruptions, so who do these Ron Paul people think they are to challenge that? Besides, how many of the regular republican delegates there know what the rules are or even care? They were there to cheer for their team, not to do anything of any significance or importance. From their point of view, I expect that they feel that there was an attempt by the Ron Paul people to take over the convention, but the convention chair did a good job in not letting them do so. We're interested in discussion and debate, but the old-line party faithful don't want that; they want to do what their leaders tell them. I'm not sure what it would take to wake up these folks, but it wasn't what they witnessed at the convention, I'm pretty sure, as sad as that is.
