Kentucky Republican Party is Blocking all Liberty Candidates!

I didn't say a word about Rand. I don't even know one fo those people. You said Hightower went above and beyond. I don't know what that means. I don't like their views, so I could see going above and beyond on some of them might be problematic for me. But to this moment I still don't know what you are talking about.

Above and beyond means showing up to their events (many 6 hours drives), speaking at their BS groups, taking the party talking points and not exposing them like he should have. He even met with Mitch McConnell when he asked to meet with him. Trying to do the Rand route like everyone asked. Playing party politics. Obviously, they don't want ground troops in the state house. They already removed Ron Paul supporters from County Conventions this year.

@BamaFanNKy,

Everyone is confused, slow down, gather your thoughts, and write it down as though we can't read your thoughts (start from zero). That might help.

You are making no sense. You've also have not followed the race obviously, or you wouldn't sound so foolish.

Count on it that we haven't followed every HOuse race in every state. If you want people's support it might be a good idea to brief us on why we would want to support them. Hightower... I know. But not about his 'going above and beyond' whatever that means. The other guy I don't know at all.

Now I am utterly confused. In what context did the House Caucus (KY?) pay a Ron Paul staffer?

As an adviser to win the House back for the GOP. I'm not going to go too in depth..... but these guys won't even answer calls. Just throwing money at people. Makes me wonder what they really will have Jesse do.

The GOP don't want a movement. They'll take a figurehead they can marginalize if he strays from the line. They might have been better off going the RON Paul route and at least having undying support in the trenches. Just saying.

But not closing the door. Looking at it.

Well, the Hightower forum would be a good place to look. How many State reps have gotten their own forum. I must say, I am disappointed that we seemed to have wasted a good shot here on really getting behind a guy who could be a US Congressman if he wins this (it's a good launching point for a soon to retire US Rep).

What Jesse does is irrelevant, it is who he is. They hope Ron won't endorse against a campaign he's running, is what I suspect. They know Rand will support McConnell, but Ron could easily have endorsed against him. But with Rand supporting AND his granddaughter's husband running it? I suspect he'll stay out. Regardless of what Jesse 'does'.

I can't be completely forthcoming as I am not going to name everyone who is involved. Lots of pissed off people. Needless to say, I have a head cold and I'm tired of hearing this "Long term strategy" shit. I've been an apologist for a while.... learning that no matter what they (liberty movement) do.... the GOP will never let us have our spot.

No offense to you guys.... Ron's endorsement means about as much as mine. He's not well received in Kentucky. It hurts more than helps.

When the KY contingent decided not to endorse Ron and support his positions so far as I could tell, I got more interested in other races, frankly. I think Ron is once in a lifetime until we can grow our own, and should be a no brainer to anyone I'd want to support. I'm not utilitarian, I'm idealistic and loyal. My buttons are different.

YOU don't get it. He would bring money, that and opposing McConnell which is attractive in its own right.

That and Davis would likely have been our two big 2014 races.

Only if there were a decent candidate, though.

You guys really haven't looked at Hightower then. He caught hell on his website calling himself a RON PAUL (not Rand) Republican.

Whatever, you came here to interest us in these guys, so tell us why we should be interested, or don't. Up to you.

Are you joking? Mitch McConnell has right now.... CASH ON HAND $24 million. Ron Raised 34 million.

I donated a bit to him, but no, I hadn't heard that. Hm. YOU are the one who led me to believe he hadn't endorsed Ron, you appeared to speak for all the KY campaigns when you were saying what a stupid idea it would be.

meh. If you guys didn't bite on the Message Board Money Bomb, why would you now? You know me. I'm not going to keep begging people to support the candidates that should be a no brainer.

He didn't and it would be. You were trying to make their race about Ron in a primary. The problem with our movement.... we die for a cause that's passed us by.

So what? He needs it because he is not well loved. Lindsay will have a lot too, but with Davis, I hope we will beat him. I don't know that you have someone like that in KY, though.

Whatever. What you said about Hightower calling himself a Ron Paul Republican piqued my interest. Does it still say that on his webpage? Can you direct me to anything on it? Because I frankly was holding that against him, thinking he of all people should understand loyalty. Now I feel badly.

Saying things like that is what makes me attribute your attitude to him. I don't really care if YOU like Ron and would confess to it in public or hide from it or not, I'm not thinking of donating to you. If HE called himself a Ron Paul Republican, that interests me.
