Kentucky Republican Party is Blocking all Liberty Candidates!

That's why we need more of our people in delegate spots in order to rise in the ranks to prevent this sort of thing from happening. That said, Rand should use some of his friendship or whatever with Mitch to grease the wheels of the KY GOP. Although, I'm not sure how much money is being spread around to house/senate seats via the state party and they may just be prioritizing all the while finding it easier to let Rand's insurgents fend for themselves. I have no idea what's going on in Chris' race as far as ground game and volunteers. I tend to think we make up for the lack of state party support w/ our outside donations and inside the district or thereabouts activists.

They raised enough money as a Caucus on their "wanting to take the house." They have a few seats they could win (Hightower, Dalton Janzen) etc. but they are not interested in having people who will hold their feet to the fire. They've raised enough that they could sprinkle 20k on a bunch of seats. As far as Chris' race. He's at a disadvantage being closer to Tennessee than most the population of Kentucky. Volunteers and minimal that is why media buys and $ was so important.

well, since he doesn't seem inclined to come back to the thread he started and elucidate, I guess all we can do is make stuff up...

Can this thread be moved to Hot Topics? No information is provides and only rumors are being generated.

Yep. That's obviously what I am doing. Making stuff up. Would you like me to link first hand knowledge? How do you link yourself? Fact remains the Liberty movement has sat by while money bombs for federal candidates kill. Meanwhile, we very rarely support the state candidates.

No information has been supplied yet. The candidates that are being neglected, who are they and what are they're opinions? Do they feel like they were given the cold shoulder?

Well, one is Chris Hightower. Rand's first campaign hire. Dalton Janzen is the other that I care about. He's endorsed by Take Back Kentucky. The reason is they will not blindly support the GOP. They also scare the crap out of the powers that be. We (meaning I was told to let them know) were told that if they play ball that the GOP would help. Chris went over and beyond. Same with Dalton. They dumped them last night and said they won't help. They are now catching hell and we need to make sure they continue their headache by making sure our guys get elected.

There's more to the story that you're not telling us. Is there a personality conflict? A bad personality can ruin any "liberty" minded candidate's chances. Something must have happened that you're not telling us.

They wen't over and beyond? In a way they know we won't like?

Because I can see them figuring the well here was poisoned so they didn't need to worry about them any more in that case, so I hope that wasn't it.

Not necessarily. The GOP made Rand the token tea partier they would support because he had enough personal following (including his Dad's) and accepted their campaign direction etc. They dumped all the others. It could be happening again. They aren't what you would call reliable.

I'm just guessing but is it due to them not supporting Romney or maybe even endorsing Gary Johnson?

BamaFanNKy's words are very telling:

* The reason is they will not blindly support the GOP.

* They also scare the crap out of the powers that be.

If I was on the KY Central Committee, I would be offended by these remarks. I wouldn't ask for "blind support," but you acting like I did makes me feel like you have no support and I can't trust you. Second, if you pissed off the "powers that be" they have the *power* to reject you and make others reject you.

I'm pretty sure it isn't anything like that. They didn't endorse Ron, for example. I doubt they'd be endorsing Johnson.

BamaFan just speaks that way.

You're right. There is a personality clash. Two them are liberty candidates and the state party lied to them to get them not to criticize the Party for long. Honestly, I have no clue what your MO is so.... I'm done with your accusatory tone.

Well poisoned? Huh? Some of you make no sense. You guys act as if they got behind Rand because of his message. They got behind Rand and Massie because Federal races are high profile. They can screw over the State candidates because obviously they don't have Super Pacs and big money bombs. Hell, we've been trying to raise 10k for over a month now. It's stuck at $6,300. We have REAL liberty supporters who aren't just posting in Benton threads and bitching about Rand. Some real patriots stepped up. To them, I'm thankful.

I'm just guessing but is it due to them not supporting Romney or maybe even endorsing Gary Johnson?

Nope. No proclamation either way.

You are making no sense. You've also have not followed the race obviously, or you wouldn't sound so foolish.

Well this paints a worse picture of the Kentucky GOP than we were led to believe by some here when McConnell acquired Benton...

It's worse. The House Caucus paid a Ron Paul staffer and have not been in contact. I think they are just trying to buy their way out of having to run against our people.

I didn't say a word about Rand. I don't even know one of those people. You said Hightower went above and beyond. I don't know what that means. I don't like their [establishment GOP's] views, so I could see going above and beyond on some of them might be problematic for me. But to this moment I still don't know what you are talking about. You act like all you have to say is 'liberty candidate' and everyone is bound to support them without knowing a damned thing about them.

Now I am utterly confused. In what context did the House Caucus (KY?) pay a Ron Paul staffer?
