That's the whole point. Corporate America can get past it by exporting jobs, but Mr & Ms Small Business get hosed.

And it's not just the wages that rise. It's all the stupid taxes, which are based on percentage of pay.

Truth be told though - if they would just crack down on illegal immigration the minimum wage would probably rise to those levels naturally in most major metropolitan areas.
