Kansas Caucuses Thread

I just got back from my caucus. My speech went pretty well, but I have no idea whether I actually converted anybody to support Ron or not. As expected, we had a mostly older crowd, and Santorum blew everybody away. The results in Stafford County Kansas are as follows.

Santorum: 73 votes
Gingrich: 30 votes
Paul: 12 votes
Romney: 11 votes
Perry: 1 vote

How is the delegate fight going?

Google says 11% reporting and Santorum is running away with it at 48% nobody else is over 20. Ron is 12

I noticed in one county Ron got two whole votes. What is wrong with people?

There is zero momentum at the moment as most think it is between Romney and Santorum. It's hard to convince people to vote for Paul when they think there vote won't count unless they pick one of the two frontrunners. Sort of like why people don't vote 3rd party in the general election.

Where are the results coming in from? Are there any results yet from the highly populated areas like Wichita and Kansas City?

I know that at least in my county the results were accurate, as I was one of three people who counted the ballots.

Santorum isn't going to win, relax.

I'm not getting worked up, and I encourage others not to as well. I was just stating that these people are so blind.

I'm not going to worry a whole lot about KS today or any other primary or caucus from here on out. I just hope everyone on here who CAN be a delegate IS a delegate and is continuing to campaign.

Not yet, maybe KC, hard to tell from the map.

Now it's 20% reporting Santorum is over 50 and Ron is down to 10. Nobody else over 20 yet.

I think you can call it for Santorum and he might take all the delegates in Kansas

Can anyone explain the difference between IA and KS to me? I would have thought they would vote similarly?
