does the msm know about the 31 votes? someone email glenn beck or howard stern

It is lame that asking for fairness is considered fringe, but that is how people are brainwashed.

We have to get an independent organization to do it for everything and not just RP.

I suspect that the miscount was only a few percent so that it makes only a little difference.

So if a candidate cries foul, people can claim sour grapes.

Yes! that would be perfect. An indepedent organization doing it on behalf of all the candidates. That way - we stay under the "fringe" radar.

No, there is NOTHING better for us to do than keep calling the campaign! Do you want votes to be stolen from us on Super Tuesday?

No, that's why the focus should be on the upcoming primaries and the vote counting process/watching in those states!! Precinct captains and all the procedures needed to prevent possible fraud or mistakes. Focusing on NH won't get us across the road, and a vount recount there will not catupult RP into 3rd place for example and I highly doubt 4th. Doing this will lead to backlash, I agree with the campaign.

Focus on what to do to prevent future vote fraud, money and time spent on NH vote recount will be a waste (won't get us anywhere) when money and time needs to be spent on ads and campaigning for the near primaries and Super Tuesday!!

The campaign can not drop the ball on this

The media already thinks Dr. Paul is a fringe candidate.

Asking for a recount is beneficial not only for us but for the entire election process.

Call this number ->(603) 271-3658 and let the attorney general of New Hampshire know that we see what is going on and that it is unacceptable. If you look at handcounts vs. computer you will also see that Obama could have possibly taken the lead. Obama's camp should be outraged as well. I'm going to go check and then come back

Ron Paul could say that he wants the recount because Obama got robbed. Get our placing up in the process

win-win?

Look, I've not been shy pointing out when I think the official campaign staff are screwing up. (Actually, I've been very reserved and only made a small fraction public, but that's another story.)

In this ONE CASE, I think HQ is making the right decision. Only if we thought Dr. Paul got 50% more votes than his total shows would it make enough of a difference to get him in the top three and get awarded any delegates. There is no reason to think that is the case.

There are simply too many other things where HQ is behind schedule, etc., to worry about spilled milk. They need to be working now on making sure they stop screwing up the coming voting.

And yes, I type grudgingly, they are right also about the perception too.

In sum, the costs outweigh the expected benefits.

I respect your post, but have to disagree. If you're not willing to stand up for every vote being counted, what are we willing to stand up for as a community? I take my right to vote as serious as anyone else here.. and mine better be #$#$ counted.

Oh come off it. Taking your ball and going home huh?

Ron Paul would like to become our next president and some battles are not worth it in the long run. We have 47 states to go. We've exposed the fraud so that others are now aware. Let it go unless a private recount is done for all candidates.

Do any of the other states even give us the ability to compare hand counts and machine counts?
NH might be our only chance.

A recount is the surest way to paint RP is a looser. These rarely go right for the requesting party.

Bradley, to me at this point its not really about the recount. Its about the damn lack of communication PERIOD. I want to know what the campaign has planned so maybe we dont screw it up, or we can help push it in our own way.

At this point from the campaign I would take,"we are looking into NH, and be assured your vote matters to us, at this time we think a recount would be detrimental to our progress, but rest assured, we will not take this lightly and will be putting in additional measures to insure it doesnt happen in the future."

We all just sit here in the damn dark wondering what the campaign might or might not do. I know we have other campaigns that watch our boards, but we need some kind of system set up where we can get some kind of information between us and them.

That is not true. 10% in Iowa is not fringe.

We will get associated with tin foil hats and crazy conspiracies if efforts to find foul play come up fruitless. Even worse if it were truly due to mistake what are we going to do? Hang them for an honest mistake?

Guys,

I feel your pain, but the campaign needs to prepare for the upcoming states even IF fraud is rampant and that same fraud reduces their chances. Now, I do support an independent effort to force a recount so the campaign can focus on the upcoming states. Fraud needs to be investigated, but HQ has a campaign to fund and run even IF fraud reduces our chances of succeeding. An independent investigation into the charges of fraud is probably best. If and when that formal investigation finds evidence of fraud to corroborate current allegations, THEN HQ can lend their formal support to the effort if desired. Once again, I agree that the charges of fraud need to be investigated
Agree.

An investigation into electoral fraud is an exhaustive process which takes a lot of time. The campaign needs to concentrate on the upcoming primaries.

Given what is being said on other threads, we can be sure that people outside of the campaign are already beginning an investigation. It wouldn't surprise me either if the investigation extends into oddities related to other candidates' numbers, including Obama's. After all, this is about defending voters and the electoral system, not candidates per se.

You have already all complained about how this campaign has not spent your money right. Now you want to spend nearly $70,000 for what?

Do you really think a recount would put us #1 or #2? Because, NH was a penalty state. They only had 12 delegates. We need 1020 to win the nomination. If we get first off a recount, we will get 7 delegates. 2nd will give us 4. Third will give us 1.

Now. Is this how we should be using our resources?

Here's the risk/benefit analysis:

Say there was some voter fraud, which is inherent in some form in nearly every election. At best, Paul may, and I stress may, move up to fourth place. That's still far out of third. What would it cost? It would create a PR nightmare for Paul, for little to know benefit. In the end, it would do much more damage.

Think of the Gore recount. If you weren't pulling for Gore, you thought he was a complete tard for asking for recount after recount.

I just spoke to somebody from HQ and asked for a recount. He told me that they are getting many many calls like mine. I've never called HQ for anything but I felt this was important after looking over some of the evidence.

Do you know what I was told? That they are "aware of the situation"

The person went on to say that if you request a recount that can have blowback and cause voters to think you're a fringe candidate.

You have got to be fucking kidding me ! They are worried about blowback ? I am pissed. I always knew they were going to have to deal with voter fraud even if most the morons on this forum didn't believe it when people were bringing it up months ago. I NEVER expected for the campaign to be ignorant of it and I fully expected them to take it head on. How the hell do they expect to win if they don't deal with voter fraud? That's the godamn stupidest thing I have ever heard. I have never once said a bad thing about the campaign like so many other people but now I am convinced that it is game over if they do not deal with this. And I can guarantee you the money is going to dry up because of it. Why in the hell would us "fringe" people who are awareof this kind of stuff going to bother to donate anymore? Why would we bother expending our time promoting someone who doesn't plan on getting elected? This is harly the last we are going to see of voter fraud and not challenging it is exactly what the criminals in charge want us to do.

Fools! Fucking fools!

Pardon my language. but I am pissed

+47
(states to go where we don't want to look like a bunch of delusional idiots.)
