I completely disagree with Bradley. There is just too much evidence of massive fraud in NH to ignore this.
It is lame that asking for fairness is considered fringe, but that is how people are brainwashed.
We have to get an independent organization to do it for everything and not just RP.
I suspect that the miscount was only a few percent so that it makes only a little difference.
So if a candidate cries foul, people can claim sour grapes.
does the msm know about the 31 votes? someone email glenn beck or howard stern
No, there is NOTHING better for us to do than keep calling the campaign! Do you want votes to be stolen from us on Super Tuesday?
Look, I've not been shy pointing out when I think the official campaign staff are screwing up. (Actually, I've been very reserved and only made a small fraction public, but that's another story.)
In this ONE CASE, I think HQ is making the right decision. Only if we thought Dr. Paul got 50% more votes than his total shows would it make enough of a difference to get him in the top three and get awarded any delegates. There is no reason to think that is the case.
There are simply too many other things where HQ is behind schedule, etc., to worry about spilled milk. They need to be working now on making sure they stop screwing up the coming voting.
And yes, I type grudgingly, they are right also about the perception too.
In sum, the costs outweigh the expected benefits.
The campaign can not drop the ball on this
The media already thinks Dr. Paul is a fringe candidate.
Asking for a recount is beneficial not only for us but for the entire election process.
Agree.Guys,
I feel your pain, but the campaign needs to prepare for the upcoming states even IF fraud is rampant and that same fraud reduces their chances. Now, I do support an independent effort to force a recount so the campaign can focus on the upcoming states. Fraud needs to be investigated, but HQ has a campaign to fund and run even IF fraud reduces our chances of succeeding. An independent investigation into the charges of fraud is probably best. If and when that formal investigation finds evidence of fraud to corroborate current allegations, THEN HQ can lend their formal support to the effort if desired. Once again, I agree that the charges of fraud need to be investigated
I just spoke to somebody from HQ and asked for a recount. He told me that they are getting many many calls like mine. I've never called HQ for anything but I felt this was important after looking over some of the evidence.
Do you know what I was told? That they are "aware of the situation"
The person went on to say that if you request a recount that can have blowback and cause voters to think you're a fringe candidate.
A recount is the surest way to paint RP is a looser. These rarely go right for the requesting party.
