I agree with the campaign! Let the grassroots handle it!

I was just looking at the ChipIn site for a recount. If HQ will not cooperate I want to contribute to doing it ourselves, but it sounds to me like only candidates themselves can apply for a recount:
New Hampshire Election Statutes
State or Presidential Primary Recounts
660:7 Application. Any person for whom a vote was cast for any nomination of any party at a state or presidential primary may apply for a recount.
Am I missing something? How can grassroots do this without Paul (or Obama) applying?
If someone can confirm that we can actually do this without the help of the official campaigns/candidates, I'll chip in.
The extra 31 votes won't get us anywhere, though it should be fought on principle. Would it be worth the hassle?

The voting was not "fixed". It was simply human error. Get over it.

True, poetic and inspiring...
Have you thought about writing speeches for Dr. Paul?!??!
I've actually sent a bunch of ideas dating way back and they have used a bunch of them.
When I hear my ideas being used I always wonder if it was me or a bunch of other people recommending the same thing. It would be nice if they'd send me a little note saying thanks if indeed I was the source. But anyway, I just want him to win.
I don't think a recount is necessary. We didn't win. It is that simple. Get over it. We don't need to look like sore losers. Nobody likes a sore loser.
If you want to be winners, we have to start acting like it. Do you guys know how winners act? I'll tell you. Winners work hard in their neighborhoods. They talk to their family members about their core beliefs and try to convert anyone who will listen. They go door to door. Winners donate to the national campaign and the grassroots. Winners do not whine even when they feel cheated. Winners suck it up, stand up straight, and focus ALL of their efforts on the goal. Talking of a recount is just a distraction and a waste of time. Do you think the American people care if we got 15% or 8%. NO. Whether we are 5th or 3rd is irrelevant. We lost. Stop acting like whining children. I love you guys, really... but you are pissing me off.
Here is what I know about elections. Hacking these voting machines would take a coordinated effort involving many people. If lots of people were involved in some grand conspiracy like this, then somebody would probably get nervous and spill the beans. Small conspiracies on a city or county level could work, but grand conspiracies on a state or national level have to involve too many people. Someone would get drunk and brag to a friend at a bar. Some husband would have to tell his wife. Some boyfriend would break up with his girlfriend and she would expose him to take revenge. Somebody would talk. This is why conspiracies don't work. Please regain your composure. The tin foil hat image has done enough damage to the campaign. Focus all efforts on winning South Carolina, Michigan, and Nevada NOW.
Lets raise some money. Lets get out there and try to WIN this thing. When we get a clear majority at the ballot box, say 40% or 50% or more, then there will be no doubt that we are winning. We have to get our numbers up. At that point, we will see that the establishment will be unable to rig the vote count. Right now we are not even a blip on the radar so a recount will make us look like kooks.![]()
+1
We have to learn from our mistakes. I canvassed for nearly a month in NH, and I came to understand that they expect everything to be spoon-fed to them. This is why everyone is undecided until the last day. The NH primary was lost in that last week of pitiful ads and lack of numbers at the polling precincts. Also, the other candidates had people at the polls well after the voting finished to make sure the numbers didn't get lost.
We need to learn, adapt, and move on.
I agree on the pitiful ads. I called and complained, that's all I could do from here.
They need to get professional marketing that will sell the message.
I don't want to get too far on a tangent here, but I don't think "professional marketing" would help at all.
John McCain had a VERY effective ad where he spoke directly to the American people. The production quality was low, but it was convincing and effective. Ron needs to do this! He sells himself better than any narrator or transition effect can.
Any interview where he's allowed to speak becomes an instant epic. His best video to date is his exploratory committee one. Just let him speak for 30 minutes on a particular issue, repeat for other issues, and get it on the air.
We already know we have the best candidate, so line them all up and let's prove it!
