I don't like this talk of negotiations. If we have the numbers to win outright then we need to win it BIG and make a statement. Anybody that thinks these Romney folks won't stab us in the back first chance they get is a fool.

That would be a huge story if true so I'd say doubtful. But there have been a couple Romney family members who have come out for Ron.

Personally as a Paul strategists I would say: Give us 50%+1 Delegate and its a deal. We would have the delegate chair also by then. No trouble on floor (at least in NV convention).

But I can understand that many people here dont want any deals with Romney.

As partly confirmed by news in other threads here, the latest posts of Frontloading HQ on Facebook:

1) @nvgop convention parliamentarian Ralph McMullen says '12 won't be repeat of '08: "Not going to turn off the lights" #nvgop

2) Ron Paul's campaign has reached no agreement with Romney camp over unbinding delegates at #NVGOP convention.

3) Expect delegate count to be 50/50 for Paul and Romney tomorrow at #NVGOP state convention, some at conven. say today.

4) @nvgop leaders dismiss RNC advice/threat on delegate selection @ Sat cvn as Paul battles Romney #nvgop

5) Not an empty threat [by RNC] but if the RNC opens the challenges can of worms it won't look all that good for the party or its nominee

Right but there is no guarantee of that. If they have a choice to fight for the nomination as long as they don't "terminate" their campaign, they might just fight. After all Gingrich is still standing by his statements about not everything Romney stating is true. Santorum hasn't given a full endorsement as well.

This will be interesting tomorrow when the convention meets again.

If people are allowed to talk all they have to say is if you support Romney are handing the election to Obama. And give examples of how much support Ron gets from Independents, Democrats, and young people.

No idea on actual Paul delegates here in Sparks but we are in force. We should know more after the first few votes in the morning. It was a long drive and I'm beat but well worth it.
