John Stossel Believes Ron Paul Will Be Placed Into Nomination At RNC

We can't give up now. This may be our last chance at having an honest man again in control of our destinies.

If we do have to take a new approach in the future, we will need the knowledge that we gave it our all to give us strength before proceeding.

This isn't looking like it's going to be a cakewalk.

Keep it up sailingaway. Good leaders are hard to find.

Ron Paul

No one thinks he has 1144 delegates right now. But if he is allowed to speak, maybe, just maybe he could influence enough to vote for him or abstain from voting so that Romney does not get the 1144 delegates on the first round to get the nomination. Then on a second round of voting anything is possible.

However unless he gets nominated from the floor he will not even have a chance to give his speech, much less possibly change delegates' minds to vote for him.

With all the obstacles, I'm surprised he got that many. Its a huge battle for the delegates for RP that make it to the convention to then sway enough needed thick skulled libs and neocons. I give it 8 more years before we see a change....if the US makes it that long with its current power/fiscal structure.

Stop with calling it negativity. It's realism.

Oh please. Never trust anyone who routinely calls their own views 'realistic'. Let me guess, you're being 'rational' too. And everyone else is unrealistic and irrational. Check. Funny how being 'realistic' seems to always preface pessimism and negativity, isn't it?

Since when has it NOT been 'unrealistic' for Ron Paul to become president? He's always been, and always will be, the underdog. The entire crushing force of TPTB have come down on him, and despite all that, he's still in it. He's made more inroads and awoken more people than could ever have been expected.

So yea, it's unrealistic. Welcome to the damn Ron Paul movement, where we've known this for years. But we're still going to fight with every last breath, and have no respect for you and your negativity. What purpose does your posting stuff like you're posting serve? Ask yourself that. Because if you still continue to post such negativity, you're not here to support Ron Paul or his delegates - and if you are, you're terrible at it.

What we need, what I've been hoping for, is a huge scandal involving Mitt Romney. Doesn't matter if it's financial or sexual, we could REALLY use one. I hope if there's a little sweety on the side out there, she's ready to come forward and expose this phony for what he is...

"Eaten by Sharks" or any black swan events. We haven't had anything like that.

This isn't true. In America each sovereign individual can still vote their conscience without going to jail. The RNC has even stated this. In 2008 there was a delegate from Utah who voted for Romney despite being "bound" to McCain. The delegate never had to serve any jail time.

Exactly, it is actually unlawful for them to say that you must vote for someone. Delegates have the right to vote for whomever they wish!
