You're just setting yourself up for dissapointment. Ron Paul will not win the nomination. That's already been established. Even if he did somehow pull of the miracle despite the American population voting for John McCain, he wouldn't get anyone behind him. The party wouldn't. John McCain supporters wouldn't. Not too many would. The Democrats would easily paint Paul as an extremist. Look what Obama's preacher is doing to him. Now add some 9/11 truthers and white supremacists, multiply it by 10, and you've got what will happen to Ron Paul. Ron Paul didn't get enough votes to matter in the Republican primary process. He's lost. Just face it. Now I'll stop so I don't get banned for telling the truth.

Ya know, Im absolutely going to be disappointed if he doesnt win and Im OK with that! My world won't shatter around me, nor will yours. Seems to me, the ones so worried about disappointment should already be disappointed and should have found some other hobby by now. What do YOU gain by trying to disappoint people before anything is even formally resolved? Im a grown man and I certainly don't need someone else trying to let me down gently but thanks for your concern anyway.

Perhapos Ron Paul has nothing to lose. But the FUTURE of his message has a whole lot to lose if his supporters all come across as crazy lunatics that everyone ignores. Let's put it this way...take a public place with 5000 non-Ron Paul supporters in it. You and me go into that building with the SAME EXACT material. Same pamphlets, same slim jims, etc. WE say the EXACT same thing with one exception. You say "Ron Paul can still win the GOP nomination." I say "He didn't win the nomination this year, but that doesn't mean his message is dead."

Then we only give out our material to people who REQUEST it. No forcing it on someone who is not interested.

You are walking out of that building with every single pamphlet and slim jim that you came with. I would not be. And that is why you would be worthles to the cause.

No, it isn't a real chance. It's called grasping at straws. Ron himself said as much that he isn't getting the nomination, but apparently many of his supporters are too delusional to accept it. What evidence do you have that we are headed towards a brokered convention? It's not happening.

Vote fraud is based on the NH results and total breakdown in the chain of custody of NH ballots as revealed in the recount. You missed my point that if it was Paul who had the nominal delegates in hand, the media would be nonetheless pushing the possibility of a brokered convention on behalf of McCain, based on the citing the same factors of unbound delegates etc. that we have been floating. I'm just saying we should not be locked into big media's perceptions about the race, as those perceptions are biased.

The media is definitely biased. But they are correct. There is no chance at this point in time of a brokered convention.

If your referring to the delegate situation as a conspiracy then you are a little off.

There is truth to it, but the chances are sooooo small, pretty much 0.1%, but it is possible,

Mccain is old, there's also a 2% or so chance he could die, or somehow be made incapable of being a candidate for president (bad accident, etc.) before the convention.

All hope of the rep nomination is not completely extinguished yet my friend, although there is little hope left, there is no way i'll take on your attitude of defeat.

It is not a bad thing for some of us to hope we can still win, it is a bad thing to think we have a great chance at winning though.

Personally, i think we're going to lose, but the basic facts prove that all hope is not completely lost!

Here is the thing, in EVERY county that we supposedly get the majority of delegates, someone from that county will post it here. therefore, if we know of, say, 10 counties across the entire country that have a majority, then that is it.


But again...if you are so sure, then put your money where your mouth is. You can easily bet on who will get Nevada's delegates, and you will get HUGE odds for Ron Paul. So do it. What do you have to lose?

Saying that McCain has no kind of real support is disingenuous, he has the definite support of the Republican establishment, they will push him through the convention. The democrats have super delegates to show the establishment's voice. The republicans have subtler, and more pervasive, systems of control.
