I would love it if McCain were forced to obey the laws he seems to think don't apply to him. Unfortunately I don't think that will be the case. Laws are selectively enforced, and I think one of the commentors is absolutely right. Someone will "find" some McCain signatures in a courthouse somewhere, and "well they got lost initially but they're here now".
The travesty that is the 2008 election will continue onwards.

Those laws are designed to keep the undesirables off the ballot, not get the pre-annointed on.

I'm just salivating though, for McCain to get all tripped up in McCain-Feingold somehow tho. That would be sublime.
