Mention of his candidacy:

JC was heavily involved in grassroots campaigning for RP--including, but not limited to: organizing one of the "Calls for Paul" efforts in MA before and after Super Tuesday, as well as organizing one of the Massachusetts Meetup Groups for RP.

Please consider supporting him in his bid for office if you can.

This guy is one of the Ron Paul delegates that voted for McCain.

Keep that in mind before parading him around as a Ron Paul candidate.

Please add Victoria Pingaroon to your traitor list. We got her elected as an RNC delegate from the 1st district of PA, and then she didn't even go to the convention. A McCain alternate took her place.

Added. Thanks.

Their names have to be known so we know who NOT to vote for or support.

Well, why did he vote for McCain as a delegate? If it's to infiltrate the party incognito and a sort of olive branch, like the Nevada delegation did, then I don't think there's anything wrong with it, but we do have to be wary.

Anyway, it's unlikely he'll upset a 32-year Democrat incumbent in Massachusetts, but good luck to him anyway if he supports our views.

Infiltrate the party incognito? LOL for what reason... His true colors will have to show sooner or later and once they see he does NOT vote for their b.s. platform they will drop him or raise up another candidate who will.

There is no strategy to secretly hide your ron paul platform during this entire time and go all the way to the national convention to STILL vote for mccain and assume there might be some amazing secret reason behind it. If anything, he would have done this secret mccain loving all the way up until the national convention and THEN his true ron paul colors SHOULD HAVE come out and voted for ron paul. He did not do that and the same goes for many other "so called" ron paul delegates.

Everyone is hoping for some secret hush hush missions and if that were true then the ambush would have happened at the national convention.

Now even if they told him that if he voted for mccain this time they will vote for him once he is running, don't you think they would change their minds once he showed his full ron paul platform?

I don't trust people like this, especially when they have damn polls on their site asking if we think he looks like that piece of shit john mccain.

If you read his email which is in another thread you will see his "Reasoning" and it is not some amazing and brilliant thought out strategy but rather a simple way out of not causing "a scene"....

Why does it have to happen at the national convention? It's been clear for a while that Ron Paul couldn't get the nomination. Instead it's better to make amends but hold onto our beliefs. Get into positions of power within the party and run for state or national seats. Once we've won the seats (especially in races against democrats), we can vote and act in accordance to our philosophy. The Republican establishment is not going to try to unseat a seated congressman, senator, governor, state legislator, etc. This is how we win, and has always been what Ron Paul's revolution is about. Don't agree with the neocons, but you don't have to needlessly provoke them (not saying that voting for Ron Paul as a delegate is a provocation, btw).

You're dreaming. Now that Ron Paul delegates have shown they will roll over for the party, the party will push them around, because they will think the Paul people will always capitulate.

In a game of chicken, the first guy to blink, loses.

JC did NOT vote for McCain

OK - Here goes...

I was an Alternate MA delegate too.

JC did NOT vote for McCain - he was an alternate.

As for the Mass delegates - Were you there for the crazy meeting during the speech?
Did you see the goon squad intimidating us nearby?
Did you hear Dr. Paul personally on the conference call tell us to work with the GOP?
Did you know that Drew Ivers (Ron Paul head of delegates) from Iowa passed his credentials to someone else to vote for McCain?
Did you know that the 5 abstains would not have been read over the Microphone anyways? (Voting Ron Paul was against the law as the delegates were bound for the first vote)
Do you even know what the Mass delegates got in return? (And no, it wasn't a concert!)
Have you ever had to make a decision in 2-3 minutes like the Mass delegation did?
(Let your voice be stifled, or trade up to start taking control of the WEAKEST GOP in the country)?
Do you know how many State Reps and State Senators are Republican in Mass?
Do you know how many of those are Ron Paul Supporters?
Do you realize the Ron Paul supporters passed off their credentials, instead of voting against their conscience (McWar)?

If you can't answer all of these questions, especially the local status, then you probably need to read your constitution again, about local decisions being left to those that know the local issues.

If you know all that and are comfortable attacking a Ron Paul HERO (JC), that personally spent his time and own money to activate people in the state, then go ahead and join the anarchy movement, because you sir have perhaps principles, but you will never achieve them, whereas JC actually does promote Dr. Paul's message of Liberty!

Alt Delegate - defending JC's judgement!

Enjoy your short lived agreement.

BTW.....has the Republican Party offically endorsed Johns campaign?
