Jo Jorgensen Wins Libertarian Party Presidential Nomination

Just more evidence that the LP has been badly co-opted and it's pretty much all rigged at the national election level. Jacob won many more contests and many more votes than Jorgensen did, yet she gets the nom and an obvious....hmmm....is chosen as VP running mate, who will promise ponies and other stupid shit that marginalizes the LP.

No. She has got ZERO chance of even getting 5%. Trump would eviscerate her in a debate, but that won't happen, because yet again, we won't get invited to a debate with 1-3% polling numbers. Amash stood a chance. And I would have supported him.

That being said, I DETEST the Democrats / Socialist. But I also think Trump IS part of the deep state. I am sure he will push the global vaccine agenda and the digital health passports and his supporters will lap it up with every justification they can muster. We are being played. He was for "lock her up", "drain the swap" and hasn't done anything there.... He was buddies with Epstein. He is horrible. But better than dementia joe... socialist sanders, or anything the dems have. We are fucked every way we turn. There is no hope. It is all a theatrical ruse which every path in the maze leading to a dead end. Voting harder won't fix shit. And no matter what anyone says, Jo ain't the ticket. None of them were the ticket, except Amash might have been.... Hornberger is a dweeb. Gray is a nice grandpa with no fire or passion. Vermin is (portrayed as) nuts. Kokesh wanted to close down and eliminate everything, including national defense. He went too far.... I liked the idea of an Amash/Sharpe. Larry has some good ideas and heart. But of course the LP screwed the pooch on that one, just like they do every god damn time....

I think the LP is a front to occupy the energy of the people wanting change. Purposefully failing and falling down. To keep those who want freedom and change occupied, hoping, thinking, there is a chance.... when they self sabotage repeatedly to keep everything at a distance.

The problem is that it's foolish to expect any organization headed up inside the Beltway Swamp to do anything to negatively affect the swamp. People like the LP chair are either groomed as controlled opposition (Sarwark is a trained globalist) or are usually co-opted once they arrive there. For all of the enthusiasm about Amash running, he flaked out and the candidate who was a genuine threat to the Swamp, who actually won the most preference contests and votes by far, was somehow denied the nomination after multiple convention ballots. Tells you what you need to know, really. Nothing emanating from the Beltway Swamp will ever upset the Beltway Swamp.

He never actually officially declared as a candidate, afaik, only declared an exploratory committee. Whether he became required to file as a candidate depended on if money was raised and other factors, per FEC rules. I wonder if any money raised could be transferred to his Congressional campaign?

Anyone who thinks any of these choices are superior to Justin Amash is a dunce. Getting a solid LP candidate, who understands libertarianism (unlike Bob Barr or Gary Johnson), isn't a total wack job like Michael Badnarik and who can get on TV (Jorgensen can't), has proven to be very difficult.


This party should have kissed Amash's feet and begged him to be the nominee. He was a perfect choice. I originally commended the party for picking the least bad nominee until I see who the VP choice is. What embarrassments.

He does sound decent when he's being interviewed but that doesn't matter much when that ridiculous website is what most people will look at first before deciding whether to even expend the time to hear him talk.

Regarding voting the attempt to win votes at least is worth something in spreading the message - Harry Browne's campaign got me hooked and Ron Paul's reeled me in (not that I needing much reeling). But 100% agree on Spike. I mean who even finds that garbage funny? "lol I'm so random" 7th graders?

You can have an effect locally,, but Federal Government is a lost cause..and should have never been allowed to have any of the powers it currently does.

It will not give them up regardless of which party is in power.
