On my podcast I interviewed many artists/entertainers who were cancelled:
@ginacarano
got cancelled after sharing a meme warning about demonizing and dehumanizing political opponents (ah, the irony!).
@MrWinMarshall
got cancelled by his popular band for daring to read a book by Andy Ngo and talking about it.
@peteparada
got cancelled by his band for listening to his doctor's advice and refusing the COVID shot.
@RosieKayK2CO
got cancelled by the dance company *that she founded* for daring to define a woman as an adult human female.
@mmcdonaldlewis
was forced to flee Portland for similar reasons, having been doxxed, blacklisted, assaulted and terrorized. They are STILL hounding her.
@jameszimmermann
got cancelled from the Nashville Symphony Orchestra after the diversity hire he advocated for betrayed him.
Tony nominee @LauraOsnes
got cancelled for false allegations of antivaxxism in 2020. She's not even political, and they still hate her anyway.
Each of these artists are wonderful people.
Each used their gifts to bring sublimity to our lives.
Did any of them do anything on the level of relishing an assassination and egregiously lying about it?
Of course not:
Each was cancelled by leftists who now want to bitch about Trump's "crackdown" [on] free speech, people so unhinged that even their liberal peers walk on eggshells around them.
So, no.
I don't give a shit that people are losing their jobs for pissing on Charlie Kirk's grave.
I don't give a shit that Jimmy Kimmel got pulled for being a shameless, soulless propagandist for a desperately out of touch political regime.
I reject any notion that "Both Sides" are the problem. This has been happening to One Side for YEARS.
And now, as Malcolm X infamously said:
"The chickens have come home to roost."
