Jesse Ventura May Run for President in 2016 with Howard Stern as His VP Candidate

This comment might pass as substance at the Daily Paul, but we're a little wiser over here. Ventura doesn't have the slightest clue about economic or liberty matters. He's on record for supporting complete government run socialized medicine. He's actually to the left on Obamacare. You're mistaken, Rand is isn't establishment. Get a clue here http://www.youtube.com/user/SenatorRandPaul

I agree with you on Rand. But if I had to pick between anyone else in the senate or Jesse (POSSIBLE exception of Mike Lee, I haven't seen enough yet) I'd take Ventura. I'd rather a decent person who is skeptical of government but has no clue about economics over a vicious warmonger who may or may not have some clue of how economics works and may or may not actually want to make the economy better any day.

I'd definitely, easily take Ventura over Cruz.

I will vote for Ventura if he comes out with his trademark electric minigun to be pro gun and say one of his famous movie lines.

Any talk on Ventura for President is a waste of time & energy

IThat understood, I have no problem w/ him on the team of a real Independenish candidate

Personally I don't mind jesse Ventura, I'm not too familiar with all his positions. I don't consider him to by a psychotic nut bag like some people here do.

But from what I do know , I'd have a hard time supporting a campaign. There is no chance he could appeal to at least 90% of the voting people. I don't see myself sending money unless he somehow exceeded all expectations and got popular.

But that's just my opinion on J.V., throw Howard Stern in there and any credibility goes out the window. I mean, seriously? Da fuq?

Anyhow, I think Rand will be more likable, and is a better representative of my own political beliefs - he has my vote any day over jesse. Plus he actually COULD win, which makes it easier for me to stomach sending my hard earned dollars early in the campaign, which I imagine replicated thousands of times over by like-minded people is a recipe for success.

Would it change your mind if you knew Jesse Ventura supports a military draft?

I have a hard trouble grasping the minds of people who would take this ticket seriously. Maybe as a protest sure....but a legitimate ticket? It blows my mind.

Good. It will be nice to have a candidate who will bring up liberty issues. Because we all know Rand is going to be in full blown "playing the game" mode by then. It will be nice to have issues that I actually care about being discussed by a candidate.

That's a good one. I can't believe you were able to keep a straight face.

Cookie Monster is a more 'legimate' candidate for President than Bush and Obama.

I don't see the Cookie Monster in the White House.

He does have a pretty bad image.

Reason #1235750257 why I don't take you seriously.

If I replaced "Cruz" with "Bush" would you still not take me seriously?

Because I honestly think Ted Cruz would be Bush 3.0 if he ever actually won the Presidency.

Yes. Do you have any proof?

why would it?

Because the draft is slavery. I view anyone who supports the draft as evil no matter what else they support.

I mostly view it as a protest. I don't even know who the VP is.
