Jefferson vs. Obama who wins?

I have this crazy question or couple of questions. Okay to give my questions context...The original presidents followed the constitution strictly and currently congress and the president do not follow the constitution at all or very little. Also, to note I don't really have much of a preference between democrats or republicans. As you know what's amazing, over the last 75 to 100 years how government has taken away our freedoms and we don't even know it. And it's always in the name of protecting us from something. Also to note, the original presidents and the constitution admittedly didn't worry about social issues but individual rights. So if you follow the constitution on social issues and the government decided not to get into everything people should be able to do as they wanted do to individual rights. Anyway you know the routine. This is hypothetical...but what if one of the original presidents(Thomas Jefferson, original democrat) were to run against Obama in the next election. Who would you vote for? Who do you think would get elected? and why to both questions?

Thanks ahead of time for all opinions...

1. I would vote for Obama because of change.

2. Obama would win easily assuming Thomas Jefferson ran with his ideas under a pseudonym and no one knew it was him. If he ran as himself, I believe it would be very close. If Ron Paul endorsed Jefferson, it would probably put Obama over the top.

Are you kidding, man! Obama over T-Jeff?

I would certainly vote for Jefferson, no doubt.

Obama would win because the MSM would label T-Jeff a kook, give him 3 minutes in the debates... and when they do ask him a question.. it's something like, "are you even electable?" while the other candidates laugh at him.

You forgot your tag ;)

even though thomas jefferson is very scientific & bright, he was amoung the very few who could understand
newton's principia in the colonies, picture jefferson being debriefed about our nuclear arsenal, and when
the consternation & shock and surprise over the feckless way that we defend ourselves is mulled over, then
watch his face when we explain what the two or three most recent presidents did with both our budget
and our foreign policy. were the auld wizard of monticello not to have a heart attack on the spot, he'd be on
one intense learning curve. i assume this is thomas jefferson in his prime, the victor of the year 1800 election!!!
