Early on he said he would not be Trump's VP and Trump said he did not want him.
He's also delusional if he thinks he can beat Trump, but it does look like RFK is getting ready to step into the role of the selected replacement when they finally have Brandon drop out.

I highly doubt that Trump will pick Noem as VP. She went against him on the lockdowns, which he sees as his greatest legacy. He despised DeSantis for much milder departures from the Trump doctrine regarding COVID.

That's not what I read at the time, plenty of news was out that it was Jared who arranged the Pence VP because Don was going to pick Christie,
and Jared couldn't take having the man who convicted his father in prison as the VP.
